so in your tiny mind which UE torso would you use for a 2004 jacked Eddie ? i’m convinced the majority of you are either too old or too young to remember how jacked he was in 04. Rude's might have worked. It might be slightly smaller than how Eddie looked at the time, but it would stand out like the one they have on figure. Then you’d all be complaining about how small his figure is.

I think people are forgetting that this is Mattel's premium line and cream of the crop. For me, there's little room for mistakes, especially with the price increases. I can't see how anyone could send a final ok to this figure and say it doesn't look odd. I think part of the reason why something like this gets finalized is because people will buy it regardless. Razor Ramon, DDP, Jeff Hardy and AJ Styles all share the same torso in the UE world and oddly enough have different torsos elite wise. Physicality wise, none of these guys share the same physique in the real world. Yeah, some torsos have to be reused, but it's getting redundant to have Lashley, Reigns, Warrior, Goldberg, Batista and Triple H sharing the same torso. The UE line started great, but now we're starting to see Mattel cut corners. The new UE RVD has cheaply painted on biker trunks on chicken legs for ex.... I don't love Flair's torso, but it might have been a better option for this Eddie. I think that torso just looks best on Flair. This isn't an Eddie that I want, but I'm hoping the WCW version has a lighter complexion, smaller torso and smaller arms.

The UE line is amazing but I def feel sometimes the butterfly joints make the figures look like some kind of robot cyborg version of the wrestler. Pumped for the Defining Moments. Wish HBK had knee pads but overall love the fig and attire.

please tell me you’re ing trolling even my girlfriend who isn’t into wrestling realizes this is a terrible torso choice for him. age has nothing to do with anything when you can look at pictures of him and see this is clearly the wrong torso choice Which still doesn’t answer my question as to what torso you would’ve used for a 2004-05 eddie ? This line gets so much love, yet so little crap on the limited torso selections. I’m just trying to prove that point because it’s annoying having to spend the most money on figures that have such a limited amount of parts. Elite Eddie’s are like older Hogans and JBLs and plenty of others who have had the worst torso selections for years now. I just don’t understand the sudden uproar, when it’s something that has been a problem and should’ve been fixed a long time ago. And this UE Eddie is not the worst example Hmm Idk, they could’ve used the same as Hardy, HBK, Hogan, Macho, Flair, Austin, etc. There ARE better torso choices and to say there’s not is very ignorant. This line isn’t that deep yet as say the elite line but they still have multiple torso molds regardless.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Ultimates are getting into Storm territory. Realism lost and replaced with action figure bulk. If you're a fan you're a fan, if you're not you're not. But it does seem to be the direction Mattel is going in.

I’m just now seeing this Eddie. I don’t know what’s more surprising - just how god awful the figure is or that someone is on this site trying to convince others it’s not bad. Remember in Pinky and the Brain episodes when Brain would use the robot suit? That’s what this looks like. Eddie was cut for sure, but in no way was he anywhere near as jacked as Warrior. Horrendous decision by Mattel.

That Eddie reminds me of this. Someone should photoshop Eddie's head onto this body.

Then you’d all be complaining about how small his figure is. I wouldn't. I'm not so much calling out the choice because Eddie isn't muscular or ripped, I'm more calling it out because how out of proportion it looks, the smaller torso with the larger arms would look better - IMO.

Nope. The figure is trash. When it comes out I’ll buy you one. Can you buy me one? I could use the money from selling it or the parts to make a custom T-Hawk from Street Fighter or King from Tekken figure.

Since this is their premium line, I would like to see each torso/body molds look unique to each wrestler. Like you said, Warrior, Goldberg, HHH, Batista, Razor etc. do not look alike, each figure should have their own unique torso.

That torso has never bothered me before and it's actually personally my favorite UE torso in the UE line. However that was the wrong parts choice for Eddie. His Elite figure has a unique hybrid torso that doesn't have a UE counterpart yet not even a basic counterpart! Probably could've been the right time to make one reflecting that OG elite Eddie torso. Also I hope that UE Rock has a collar for that shirt. There's a version he wore that didn't have a collar. At least it is kind of accurate, but IMO the version with the collar like the prototype looked more cooler. BTW I agree with you that this figure should have came with the natural expression headscan.

His Elite figures aren't a unique or hybrid torso, it's just the same torso used on Brian Pillman, Kevin Von Erich, Matt Riddle, and maybe some others Well let me be more specific that torso isn’t unique to Eddie I know that, but that torso doesn’t actually have a basic/ UE counterpart. Look at Macho Man for example he uses the exact same elite torso, yet his basics uses the Damien Sandow torso (or at least most of them does) and that torso (the Damien Sandow one) does have an elite/ UE version of it. I call it hybrid because Mattel tends to use that torso when they are giving it to figures that have basics that uses the Sandow, Triple H, and Barrett torsos it’s like their middle ground of them. Oh derp, I thought you meant it was mixing parts lol

UE's are u-g-l-y. Only good thing about them are the accessories and extra heads.

I actually didn't like the prototype, because it had a collar but no drop in the neckline, which he always had with the collar. So removing the collar all-together actually made it more accurate.
