I got thinking today about "favourite" Wrestlemania events, and I know everyone will pick III or X-7 or maybe even XXX cause of Daniel Bryan winning the WWE World Titles. But I started to think about what just a fun Wrestlemania is to throw in when bored if you want to watch something. And then Wrestlemania IV came to my mind.
The event is pretty neat in that where else do you get a 20 man battle royal, a 14 man tournament to crown a new WWF Champion, a IC and Tag Title match, a six man tag match plus a grudge match all in one show?! Plus on top of that you get the Hogan/Andre rematch from a year before.
I feel like if Wrestlemania IV was done in a better place than Trump Plaza, like perhaps a stadium or bigger arena, it would be looked at better when thinking back to it.
So what does everyone think of Wrestlemania IV?!

I love IV! And you're right - it is fun to watch. I love a good tournament, and this is my favourite Andre/Hogan match because they just go crazy on each other.

I agree, it's just a really fun event to watch.

I agree, it's just a really fun event to watch. Well put. Plus it was four hours as opposed to the usual three. A lot of the appeal for me was seeing so many of the stars of the time as well on the one card. I always felt sorry for Bad News when Bret destroyed his trophy. He looked genuinely sad. |

WM4 will always be my favorite. It was the first PPV that we watched live, and I'm not sure that I've ever marked out harder in my life than when Macho won the tournament!

WM4 was a great event. It felt huge and the fact the the tourney stuttered a bit in the middle was lost on the young fan. I prefer WM5 though.
