If it was a question of budget, then they should have just charged more for the set - I wouldn't have minded... I'm sure most other collectors out there wouldn't have minded either. Having dull belts with Ultimate Editions though is unforgivable(!).

After you get the initial run of people buying right away cuz they need it asap or FOMO, you're left with a lot of inventory that you eventually need to discount. Most wrestling collectors are looking for deals. We don't pay crazy prices until it's sold out. |

I should have worded it different, why did this exclusive set, have the same budget as a regular one? You can't get these in Walmart or target, the budget should be higher for the purpose of an online only exclusive. Not 100% sure, but I would imagine a RSC exclusive would have less of a budget due to the production run. The more you produce, the less your costs are. So if a normal main line release has a run of 30K against all retailers, your costs will be less. Since RSC is a smaller retailer and not as well known as traditional retailers, I doubt they are ordering a full production run (whatever number that might be). That's true |

This was a surprise to me upon opening the package. Sometimes budget adjustments are made that include our exclusives and they are at Mattel's discretion. I would have obviously preferred them to remain how they were. For what it's worth I think they look great in person and I don't really agree with/see the Jimmy face issues. If anything I think the shape of his head could be a little bit rounder and maybe that's part of where the criticism is coming from but it looks better to me than when the protos were first shown. |

Figures have retail price points and they have to pinch every penny to make record profits again and again. Just wish premium figures came with premium accessories. We’re paying extra for articulation hardly anyone uses and giant boxes. |
