We had two tvs on at once, and would alternate muting one of them depending on which program looked more fun. I got to the point where I just kept WCW muted and then just stopped watching when Goldberg beat Hogan.

We’d flip back and forth on the bedroom tv and record both shows uninterrupted on the others. Depending on what was going on, I would watch most of one of the shows.
We had so many tapes. I think I still have it somewhere but the last show I ever recorded on tape is Batista returning to Smackdown in 06

I was thinking hard about this during the week and I think I stopped about May 99 being a regular WCW viewer as in watching the 2 shows every week.

Omg, I have such fond memories. I vividly remember me and my brothers alternating which company we liked based on who had the new video game haha. There were times when we’d watch WWF, they’d have something silly on like Sable taking off her clothes, so we’d have to switch to WCW because we could hear my Mom walking down the hallway lol.
Anytime Brawl for All went on, we’d switch to WCW. When WCW mentioned Mankind would be winning the WWF title, I remember we put it on just to laugh and see how awful WWF had become and when we watched it we actually liked it. So many fun memories of playing all the games and toys. Almost an infinite amount of memories
I still insist to this day the 1996-1997 WCW programming was the best wrestling programming we ever got. It made WWF redefine what wrestling was but WWF never put on a better wrestling program, just a more entertaining program.
