Bret Hart. The figures are great but his headsculpts are a disgrace. Mattel really needs to fix this. He is one of WWEs biggest names in history and his figures look dumb.
Also Usos with Jimmy Uso featuring a wrong haircut. Who is who there? I am tired of those Uso-hybrids. At least fix it in the Ultimate line. They are on of the greatest tag teams an WWE history and Bill is simply not able to tell them apart. It’s frustrating.

The Cody figure is annoying just because it cost extra and the tights aren't even close. If it was 30-35 maybe it would be an easier pill to swallow, I guess. I always thought Series 10 was a complete throwaway set as far as honorable mentions. I can't speak for the Rock, but the U10 Cena is great. I'd argue it's far superior to the UE5 one thanks to the attire choice and butterfly joints (which in Cena's case are actually quite beneficial for his poses and etc.) Personally, I much prefer the UE5 attire... blue jorts is iconic Cena to me. I've always thought the UE10 Cena is kind of bland... out of all the great/colourful attires Cena's had, they go for black jorts with a black shirt?

Good news is Eddie will be correctable with the USO torso Paying $80+ to make Eddie too skinny doesn’t sound like a proper solution. Personally, I much prefer the UE5 attire... blue jorts is iconic Cena to me. In a sea of blue jorts, the black does stand out in a Cena collection; it’s simple but clean. (Anytime WM22 gets some love is a plus in my book.)

Maybe it's because I was at ONS 06 (I know it's not the exact attire, but it's pretty close) but I have a ton of nostalgia for the shirt/shorts combo on that figure. Also, when I think of colorful Cena I tend to think of the khaki shorts and one of the rainbow shirts. That 08 look, as memorable as the moment was, just kind of falls in the middle (to me anyway).

I'll leave this guy here. The main headsculpt looks like a 60 year old Van Dam, the torso looks like it's some sort of bulletproof chest armor and without even having to see loose pictures you could tell it still has those cheaply painted NONSCULPTED chicken legs. The icing on the cake are the leg sleeves of doom kneepads. This RVD just looks unproportional. For an Ultimate Edition, I think Mattel is starting to cheap out and use the line as a cashcow. The lack of new torsos and legs in this line is disappointing.

And to your last point, they do really need to use the UE budget to get more torso and leg sculpts out there. I think people would be okay with 1 or 2 heads, if they could get out new torsos that are more distinct for each wrestler. Also, what's with the removable ponytail? Did he ever have a hair vs. hair match and they cut off his ponytail?

Diesel. Zero effort put into that figure. Especially compared to what you got with Macho and Doink. Plain boring attire which was already done as an elite, only 1 extra head and hands, and only a vest as an accessory. Easily the least “ultimate” Ultimate Edition figure. Boom. Nailed it.

MKSavage I wouldn't mind two good headsculpts. IMO, this is Mattel's cream of the crop and it's their premium line. This is their highest showcasing and at times, they make art pieces. While other times we're left scratching our heads. No, the ponytail is basically to simulate when Van Dam flies off the ropes in action. I'm still scratching my head as to how UE Razor, DDP (crowdfund version), Jeff Hardy and AJ Styles have the same torso option. Not even their elite counterparts share them.

Start off Strong Make people fan of the line and then start to cut corners. This is classic mattel bro 😂.

Eddie looks pretty disappointing so far. The ultimate edition line seems to have been slacking a little bit. It seems like there’s atleast 5 guys they use that overly ripped torso for. The scales seem off too. Seth and AJ being the exception, a lot of the ultimates seem I can pass on.

Of the UE I own, the nwo Macho is underwhelming. Besides the fact that the shirts caused staining neither looked great.

Diesel sucked. Too plain for a Mattel creations.
Bret Hart head scans are jakks level bad.
Eddie looks like a bad custom job.
Nakamura. Bizarre choice - The mark wanted to make it. I guess it could be a good fig though.

I think overall visually he looks great, but without the shirt his arms stick out too much and can't hold a plain pose. I also don't like how his head sits high, but he looks great otherwise imo. That Flair torso just needs to be reserved for Flair and Flair only imo. It just looks like it was tailor made for him.

I guess it could be a good fig though. All things considered, when they were developing the Nakamura figure, he was winning the rumble off his debut year, WWE title match at Mania The figure came out when he had already turned heel and was moved down the card a bit, which is probably why it warmed the shelves for an eternity.

Also, Nakamura's more than his WWE run. The guy went in the Observer HoF before he even hit the U.S., he's main evented Wrestle Kingdom. He came into WWE with as much hype as AJ or Finn and immediately hit 5 stars with Sami. Betting on a guy with a legacy like that for a high-end figure line doesn't seem terribly ill-conceived, especially in light of what looked like it would be a world title push following the Rumble win. Like, Storm tried with NJPW at twice the cost and much less U.S. exposure than he's got.

The hate for the Nakamura figure is wild, solely because it feels like it's driven entirely on the choice to include him in the line when they did, and little to nothing else.
