Black Monday for wrestling figure collecting. Â I'm not sure what's worse, the threat of losing my favorite wrestler and possibly the most toyetic "top guy" of all time or having to explain to people in my life why I'm legitimately depressed over action figure news. Â yeah Iâm legitimately sad over this too lmao. I was excited af and it was so close to coming out. and on top of this Iâve not been able to go anywhere today because Iâve been waiting on UPS (package has to be signed for) and I have to start work in about an hour and a half đ |

If the rumor of him not getting anymore figs is true, then itâs even more frustrating that Mattel pretty much used the same sculpt for 10 years on every macho fig. On top of that it was never really that good when it came to likeness.

I canât imagine that WWE would possibly let the cash cow that is the Macho Man license go. There will be more to the story on this particular figure. Yeah WWE wouldnât let Macho Man go but itâs not up to them if the estate decides not to re-sign. I donât remember which company makes the knock off Bone Crunchers but theyâre doing a Macho Man and everyone was confused how they got his rights and the answer was that the estate wasnât doing exclusivity anymore (like AndrĂ© and Eddie Guerreroâs estates are set up) FC Toys. Due out by the end of August. |

I wonder if the WrestleMania Rewind Macho I picked up on the 9th will be the last Mattel Macho Man I buy at retail? Thatâs depressing If it was. We need to start talking about Peanut Butter in this thread too! Itâs the only way to get it back on track. I wonder which brand of peanut butter was Machoâs favorite?

Damn that really sucks. I really was looking forward to this figure. Hopefully they resolve this issue soon so they can continue to make his figures. Also I hope there wasn't too many Macho Man's planned to be shown at SDCC or that will suck.

Great point, why would we bother discussing a major piece of news on a discussion board? Discussing it and saying âOh Lanny died so I bet the contract lapsedâ are two different things. I really don't know what to tell people like you at this point. That's a completely valid statement, someone gave a piece of supporting information followed by what they think might be happening. Just say you don't want people saying things you don't like and be done with it because trying to police what does and doesn't count as discussion is just laughable. |

Lol maybe they don't have any first time in the line figures planned for SDCC and by taking one of the big legends off the table and then putting him back in the line, it will give us that excited reaction to deflect the attention of them not having any first time in the line figures to deliver.
Really though, if they could just make one more Savage figure it would be from Wrestlemania V. They had him under contract all this time and they didn't pull the trigger on it.

Sure it stinks if we donât get anymore Mattel Savage figs but theyâve done a great job in releasing his figs unlike when they lost Sting. Iâm good with what theyâve made for Savage. Saves my wallet. Iâm glad I have his WM7 DM and didnât sell it.

Just wondering what they do, because back when Jakks dropped the R3 line in favor of RA RSC offered store credit on my order for the R3 Mr Perfect. I ended up using it towards RA1 Brock and Orton. |
