Really hope the deal with Macho didn’t expire. He’s a name that needs to be included on a semi regular basis.

Well if he didn’t duck the question repeatedly in favor of the recycled softball questions, there wouldn’t be a reason to flood it. “Will we get [insert random name]?” “If he becomes available to us!” “Can the next [insert name] get [insert accessory]?” “I’ve forwarded the feedback.” “Can you give us a hint on what we’ll see at [insert event]?” “No.” That entire thread is generally worthless tbh. Clearly he can’t answer every question. He does work for a billion dollar publicly traded company licensing from a billion dollar publicly traded company. The softballs he can answer, he can answer questions he can be vague with, as well as questions he’s been given permission to answer. |

Anyone that doesn’t have the Defining Moments that wants the look, better snag it on secondary before this becomes more know news. then after a bunch of people do that they’ll say oops nevermind he’s coming out after all lmao As someone who literally just did exactly this, I would be totally fine with that haha. I'm a MOC Savage collector so his original DM was always a need for me and it's particularly sentimental as there's actually a promo of him holding the figure. I never had this as I got in around 2018 when prices were really high, now I've been delaying it seeing as the UE was on the horizon. Luckily I just picked it up for a price that I'll always be comfortable having paid for it whether we (hopefully) get this UE figure or not. |

The license expiring would be awful. So many incredible looks they never got around to:
- SummerSlam ‘92
- Match Made in Heaven
- a proper WM8 (not the half assed one they released)
- Cobra Bite Incident
-Tuesday in Texas
Just off the top of my head.
With all that in mind, I’m not even sure why they were wasting a spot with another slightly modified WM7 look.

He’s said from day one he’s legally not allowed to say who is or isn’t under contract. And can’t say who is coming in a wave until Mattel gives him the ok. Remember a few years back (towards the beginning of Mattel getting the license) the sculptor showed some of their work they did not just with the WWE, but DC comics and other companies lines like Hasbro’s Marvel Legends and they got in trouble with I think both companies who made them take it all down because of the confidentiality contract they signed. |

Speculation on my part. I know his brother was overseeing his estate. Well his brother died a few months ago. I’m sure that has something to do with it and who is controlling the estate is being tied up in courts

While I really do hate giving these people a hard time in situations like this, the only character I will chain myself to the proverbial tree for is Macho Man. We went over a decade through the Jakks dark ages without a Randy Savage. This just cannot happen. Mattel, you made a lot of promises to the Macho Man collector, promises that ya didn't keep! YOU PROMISED THE LEGACY OF THE MACHO MAN WOULD NEVER BE IN A PRECARIOUS POSITION!
In all seriousness I hate to be so dramatic but this is coming from a place of genuine honesty, a future of no Savage figures is a future where I'm infinitely less interested in this hobby. He's a lynchpin talent, I assume others felt the same about Hogan or would feel the same about Warrior, Taker, HBK, Bret etc etc, for me that guy is Macho Man. I'll give them a chance to rectify it but you can essentially take how excited I was about this hobby and cut it in half if I'm never seeing another Savage. If you can have your guts ripped out over figure news mine just were.
