what are some wrestlers or tag teams that had short but VERY successful runs?
One I thought of was Too Cool. They were sooooooooooooooo over
In October of 99 they went from Too Much to Too Cool and were heels but became faces in late 99, they disbanded in March 2001 so they were together 16 months with 1 run that lasted 27 days as Tag Champs
Thought they didn't have a lot of title success they were one of the most over acts during that time period.

I have to go with Austin & Rock here.
SCSA: 96 - early 03 with 18 months away between the neck surgery & quitting.
Rock: late 96 - mid 03 with roughly a year off for movies from 01 onwards.
The impact these 2 had over such a short spell is quite frankly astonishing.

The Rock could easily be mentioned here in how short of time he was an active WWF/WWE wrestler before he became a Hollywood actor/Hollywood star.

Goldberg 1997-2001

Yes Warrior is also worthy of a mention.
Late 87 - mid 91 & another 6 months in 92....then 3 in 96 & 4 in 98 WCW.
Crazy

How about Steamboats comeback WCW run from late 91-94
In that short span he became a 2x tag champ with Rhodes and Douglas respectively,2x TV and 1x US at the tail end there

Dean Douglas WWF 1995 run!
August - December, he gets a PPV win over Razor Ramon, gets awarded the IC Title from Shawn Michaels, and tagged with Razor, Yokozuna and Owen Hart at the Survivor Series.
For only being there for that short period of time, he did a lot even if he did sabotage his own WWF career by not joining up with The Kliq when they asked him.

Yokozuna has to one of them. Two championship reigns, ending Hogans first WWF run. Good little tag team run with Owen. I know his babyface run wasnât great but still one of the biggest monster heel champions ever and only was around for like 4 years.

Definately worth a mention....Hogan & Uts departure as well as Vader's arrival kind of revolved around him. Such a pity about him.

New Age Outlaws, only together about 2 years originally then joined back up a short time but got 5 title runs, joined DX, was completely over with the crowd. The top tag team in the WWF during that run

Warrior, Austin, and the Rock definitely come to mind. All three had really short runs at the top, but are still 3 of the biggest stars in the company's history.
