Sorry if it's a random thread. But I would be flabbergasted if we ever got a Jesse Ventura figure.
He seems so far removed from his wrestling days, from watching his recent videos that I think he is the most shocking WWE Mattel signee that I could expect (Chris Benoit, Superfly Jimmy Snuka, Dynamite Kid, Marty Jannety excluded).
Do you think that we will ever get a Jesse Ventura figure? What are your opinions?

Hes got a signing here this summer which I planned to ask about a Legends deal. I dont see any reason why he wouldnt/couldnt get signed though.

Only ones you can actually say will never be made by Mattel while under WWE are Chris Benoit/Owen Hart and Snuka. Moolah maybe too. Most of her accusations are just hearsay tho but enough for WWE to want to distance themselves from her. They definitely saw a backlash from trying to name the mania battle royal after her and don’t think she’s been mentioned on TV since. |

I love Heenan, but it's apples and oranges. Ventura sold seriousness better. You want Gorilla and Heenan on a 12 minute Warlord vs Kerry Von Erich match from Prime Time in 1991. You want Gorilla and Jesse when the Mega Powers explode.

We definitely need the Body. Personally, Im not a fan of the boa attires, so for me I'd like his outfits from the late 80's/early 90's.Perhaps an attire from Saturday Night's Main Event or even an attire from the Superstars of Wrestling.
He wore some good ones there.
Make him an ultimate, with one head with and one head without mustache.

Can't remember fully but wasn't the last time he was on TV was when he made the table match with Cena and Sheamus back in like 09 or was there another time he showed up after that ?

I sure hope we get an Ultimate of Jesse at some point. As much as I’d like to get him in the CC, I’d take a standard Ultimate with announcer outfits.

I forgot to mention that I only liked Jesse as an announcer. In 1988 when I was first introduced to the WWF, his wrestling days were over, so I never saw him as a wrestler. So announcer all the way for me. |
