Looks like the first 2 are in: http://instagram.com/p/CuUwqc-u0M- Looking good overall. The most minor of criticisms are that Cardona is too tan, the eyes are off compared to LJN (as discussed on the previous page), and there might be some very minor paint flaws. Maybe it is the lighting. The white around Brian’s pecks looks thin, spots on the gold deco, spot above the M. Matt only has a spot on the upper grey of his right boot/kickpad. Otherwise these things are near flawless! The eyes Will be fixed for Demo and on. I’m not tan enough!!! Lol.

Will there be a Big Rubber Guys SDCC-timed order? Hopefully not exclusive to convention only, but a big announcement while all eyes are on collector toys? Would be a great time for Powers of Pain to go with our Demolition!

We have the rest of 2023 planned.

I asked this of Steve, but I know he only answers so many questions. Since you Major Pod Peeps have been so gracious and responsive, I thought I would ask you too. I have a question of curiosity, based on the influx of independent toys coming up. I recently heard of an independent company retro-style Rhythm and Blues Greg Valentine, and heard JYD is rumored for the next Power-Town wave. Based on relatively recent Mattel releases of each, I’d thought both were still under the Mattel license. I recognize you can’t name specifics, but I’d figured that Andre The Giant getting figures from multiple companies was the exception. Are things loosening so there are more shared talent potentials? It would be great to get Big Rubber Guys even if they also still get figures from other companies, such as Dino Bravo and Hercules getting Zombie Sailor retro figures, or “Ravishing” Rick Rude (who desperately needs an LJN style re-do) and Earthquake getting Mattel WWE figures. Thanks, as always.

Andre is one of them…Macho…bulldog…pillman…maybe a few others but I don’t have knowledge of EVERY contract. I’d love to do Dino and Hercules as BRG. We aren’t signing talent until we are ready to start designing their fig. I don’t want talent or family of talent having to wait YEARS like they have been for other companies…Zombie included. We have 2023 BRG line up set. I really believe it’ll impress you guys.

Seconded. I think a lot of people who have the time and are involved in these various lines should pop in here and chat, however brief. It is appreciated, and I know I'm not here to berate or heckle anyone. I feel ZST HAS BEEN here, but didn't really cover himself in any glory, which is a shame, as he could've swayed a lot of public perception.

I appreciate not wanting to keep the talent waiting, bummer for the short term though, as these are some of my top wants. Curious to see who is coming! With the recent Bendies, I could see a classic Duggan in the blue tights with a thicker build and more expressive face (as compared to the LJN) being a big Win.

Were there any “missing” accessories that LJN should have produced or that might sell well? I remember those Kamala masks and such being shown off during the LJN Christmas special. But what about an LJN scale steel chair, $20,000 duffel bag, figure stands, interview backdrop, or some “inspired” belts?

I have zero clue if this would be feasible, but a LJN-scaled “ring cart” Ala’ Manias 3 and 6 that essentially doubles as a display stand seems like a no-brainer.

Wrecollect did that but it was a bit rough and a bit pricey. Still a phenomenal idea: wrecollect.com/product/ljn-scale-ring-entrance-cart/
