Yeah it doesn’t feel like an essential accessory, like Frankie would with Koko, but my Bad News would seem incomplete without it lol, I understand that you want people to order directly from your own site, but it does seem like it’s cutting off the feet of your UK supplier to me. I had Dusty and Brooklyn Brawler preordered with wrestlingmegastoreuk but I’ve cancelled them as it wouldn’t make sense to collect this line going forward if I’m going to miss out on part of the product going forward unless I pay a premium on top.

As an international buyer (Canada) I pay for the high shipping and then get dinged with custom fees on top of it. Sometimes custom fees are ridiculously high for me. There seems to be to no rhyme or reason to how much it will be. For example Magnum and hacksaw cost me $60CAD when Demolition cost me $30CAD.
However, At the end of the day it is my choice whether to purchase these figures or not. If i want the figures i accept the fact i pay more. Simple as that. If someone wants the Bad News with the exclusive rat then order and pay for it from the company carrying it.

Maybe to bridge the gap, they can offer a partnership with select distributors to do future international exclusives. Kind of seems like a win/win opportunity.

There’s a deal with a supplier in the UK, they’ll be offering the Bad News for the equivalent of $64, if I want the full product it’s $90 from them.

I pay almost that whether it is an exclusive or not after conversion of US to CAD $. Then custom/imports fees on top. Again my choice to pay that. It is the cost of doing business if I want these for my collection. I just look at it as inflation from the $7.99 I would’ve paid had LJN/GrandToys just released these figures back in the 80s/90s lol

got my pre-order in for the Rock N Roll Express! Wow the NWA tag belts were a nice surprise, didn't know they were coming! This is incredible, please please please try for the Midnight Express! Yeah, I was sold on Rock N Roll Express before I learned they came with the belts. Very cool! But who will the nwa US belt came with if not Magnum. Luger? Nikita? Hmm

I understand all that, if you want it you pay, and if there wasn’t a UK supplier to help with the shipping costs I would have bought Bad News direct from their site and wouldn’t have blinked twice at the shipping cost, but missing out on accessories if I buy their product from a UK partner doesn’t sit well with me sorry.

They buy from us like so many other retailers. We love their support. But they are no more official than any other site we do business with. The rat is exclusive to those who order DIRECTLY from us. What if THEY ordered an exclusive BRG figure. (Which I hope they do). Should all US customers complain? That is what an EXCLUSIVE is.

If Americans had to pay a premium on top for the same product then I’m sure they’d complain, that won’t happen though. I completely understand the rationale behind the exclusivity of the accessories, it just doesn’t work out well for international. It defeats the object of ordering your product from wrestlingmegastoreuk.

“** The Wrestling Megastore is a proud, official partner of Major Bendies 🙂”
They seem to think they are an official partner.

Ok, all that makes sense, it’s a great figure, I just can’t justify $40 on top for the rat accessory and I feel like I’d be missing out if I buy the product from the UK store, hope that makes sense.

Will Matt have to now battle it out death-match style with all exclusive accessories on the line going forward?

That would defeat the purpose of an exclusive thank you to people who support us directly. Can’t please everybody unfortunately. LOL if you only want to offer exclusives through your website that is fine. But offering an international exclusive does not defeat the purpose of an exclusive. If you have concern over frustrating your primary customer base, that’s a fair argument. But there could be a greater upside to offering something as simple as a maroon trunks (Galoob style) Ric Flair exclusively to intentional distributors.

Had they only gone with the black and white boots instead for Bad News this all could have been avoided 😉

Having the rat in other places besides Collect Major defeats the purpose of an exclusive. The rat is exclusive to CollectMajor.com. It’s as simple as that. If the UK website wants to order a different exclusive for their site, they are more than welcome to.
