Yeah i know my ideas are definitely long shots lol but just saying if the stars aligned i would love those. How about a colorful koko b ware with frankie? I would buy all of your ideas here too. But I suppose an NWA wrestler, Flair or Savage repeat once in a while would be ok too, if only to give my wallet a break. Hardest NWA guys for me to pass on would be the potential Road Warriors (or Legion of Doom). I loved this team, but have made a rule for my collecting to be 80’s WWF only- which wouldn’t include them.

Got my Demolition yesterday. The are great for a LJN Fan like myself, my only issues were a droopy eye on Ax, which seems common, and that I received the Variant Versions when I preferred the standard versions. Very minor details. I love this line and am very excited on where it could go in the future. We are also fortunate to have The Major Pod Guys responsible for Big Rubber Guys. As wrestling figure enthusiasts, I’m pretty sure they want the same things from a LJN style line as we do and will do what they can to bring us people who are missing from the original line or better versions of original LJNs. I’m here for it!

Seriously, that's some skillset you have there! Are you a professional? I am actually. I do character & creature designs for tabletop games, along with some other things like comics. Btw, I also had sketches for an LJN/BRG short haired Hercules and Badnews Brown. But I got really busy so not sure if they'll ever get finished. Excellent stuff, I can barely draw a stick figure!

Demolition look great, loved them as a kid, I'd have definitely cried to have their BRG's back then. I wasn't planning on collecting these but I'll most likely be getting the Bulldogs, so I could be swayed on future releases.

Have the orders to outside retailers been shipped? I'm mostly asking regarding Wrestling Megastore in the UK. Thanks 😊 Some have, but everyone including retailers should have tracking by Monday the latest. Any updates on shipping? Still waiting for an email for shipment. Hopefully soon. Everyone seems to have theirs. Lol.

Just watched the latest Major Pod on YouTube. Psyched to see Cardona show interest in doing Powers of Pain for this line sooner than later. I hope it can happen! They would be perfect for this line!

Hope it happens! A Powers of Pain release would be righting two wrongs since Barbarian didnt get an LJN figure and the Warlord figure wasn't wearing POP attire. Plus, im sure they'd look amazing.

I'd absolutely love powers of pain but I'm hoping they do the red and black face paint from survivor series when they teamed with dibiase. Every warlord in every line has been black and blue. Time for something different. Although of course I'd still buy the black and blue one lol it's just not my preferred look

PoP would be very nice!
Got my Demolition last week. I was going to display them loose but Smash does have some issues standing as others have noted in unboxing videos. Also, the feet seem to be smaller than they could/should be based on the rest of the body, but they do look great in the package. I removed the paper picture so the whole figure is visible and they look great.

Tag team attire, of course, which would be a nice course correction from the LJN.

Another interesting takeaway from the latest Major Pod, in the Q&A they were asked about super-heavyweights for this line. Cardona right away shot down Bundy as there being no need to redo (agreed), Myers brought up Akeem but Cardona didn’t really show interest. Cardona showed interest in Earthquake, but stated he isn’t available due to his WWE Legends deal. Both perked up though about Abdullah The Butcher, with a bloody variant. It’s their line, obviously, and truly to each their own. But I have zero interest in that figure, and now have some worry they will go down the Indy/bloody route like their Bendies. I would definitely be selective, sticking to 80’s WWF guys. For super-heavyweights, redoing One Man Gang and Kamala feel doable to me. I’d personally love an Uncle Elmer. Earthquake, if/when available, would be good too. Abdullah isn’t for me though.

I’d be happy with any that fit the timeframe of the ljns or just after, WWF, NWA etc.. but that’s just me. I’d have no interest in new guys in this line.

I heard this as well and was a little bit disappointed about Bundy because I do think he would sell well, even if it's very similar to the old one. LJNs in like new condition are hard to find and expensive and a brand new King Kong would be appealing to me. Perhaps in due time...Kamala would be one of my most wanted figures for any line, especially with the mask like Matt just sold! With the slow down on Powertown and Coliseum Collection releases, Big Rubber Guys is carrying the torch for retro larger scale collectors like myself right now!

I grew up with the LJN line. Born in 1980 so literally prime time for them
Funny thing is I loved the big rubber LJN’s but I didn’t love, love the WWF. I was addicted to the NWA and then basically through the magazine’s and maybe some VHS tapes here or there, loved the AWA, World Class, and whatever else was in the mags
So if BRG branches off into Abdullah, Brody, Nick Bockwinkel, and whoever else from NWA and the territories, that would be right up my alley
But regardless, WWF, NWA I’m probably buying. Unless they do the current Indy stuff. No interest in that

As someone who had LJNs as well as Remcos and really wished my Remco Road Warriors specifically were able to fit in with my LJNs, a BRG version of them would be a literal dream come true. However, I'm not sure if I'd have much interest in other 80s guys from JCP,AWA and world class. Maybe? I dont know. I guess it'd depend on how good the end result looked. Another exception would be Tiger Mask and Inoki. Though, I guess technically, they've actually wrestled on WWF shows and the WWF/New Japan partnership was still going when the LJN figures started coming out.

Just saw the latest Kyle Peterson YouTube video. He said Hogan is now available across brands (for a large price, I’m sure), and suggested getting a Big Rubber Guy of him. I’d never really considered him, but I hadn’t been considering Savage either until the announcement. So now I’m actually excited to see what they could do with Hogan for this line!
