Fair enough. Thanks for clarifying.

Ordered the Hacksaw variant, don’t really know much about Magnum T.A so think I’ll stick to WWF and only select NWA guys like Ric Flair.

Can anyone confirm when the preorder window for Series 6 closes? Thought they used to post it on the site but I'm not seeing it, unless I'm overlooking it.

Ordered the Hacksaw variant, don’t really know much about Magnum T.A so think I’ll stick to WWF and only select NWA guys like Ric Flair. If you have ever heard people in the wrestling industry describe someone as having “it” - Magnum would be that guy. Wrestling could have been very different today had it not been for that car crash. Even if he didn’t stay in the business, the period in which he was poised to rise to the top probably would have shaken the landscape of the NWA. Certain guys may not have risen as they did but due to his absence, they were down a major star/draw/crowd favorite. In the books I’ve read, shoots I’ve watched, and podcasts I’ve listened to, I struggle to remember anyone who has had a bad word to say about Magnum TA today. If you haven’t watched it, DSOTR did a nice episode that covers his rise and his tragic fall. It may not be what you are looking for in terms of selling you on his figure based on his wrestling days but it might help sell you on the person it represents:

I was listening to a recent video from Cardona and was happy to hear him say something to the effect of how he loved the Demolition figs at first, but not as much now that he's seen some of the improvements that have been made in the later series. I feel this is a good thing and it shows the team is looking to only get better as they continue. Using the LJNs as comparisons, some of the Series 1 had some issues that were done better later on, such as the bended knees which would make the Hogan and Studd etc. way too tall, and long-haired Andre's fingers just looked..weird.
While some LJNs were of course done better than others due to different model makers working on the line, there are some that looked pretty life-like in the faces and I think the eyes and the facial details such as wrinkles and lines, sculpted eye brows etc., had a lot to do with it, with some even having the iris colored in with the wrestler's eye color, then a smaller black dot for the pupil, and then an even smaller, sometimes off-centered white dot to give I would guess the appearance of a reflection.
Question for Cardona and Kanik: For the eyes, have you considered having the final product include at least more rounded eyeballs for future releases? In Demolition, which are the only ones I have in hand so far, they appear to be flat with little detail in that area. If so, what series would we likely see this change? Thanks

I’m curious about the production run of these figures … each series has been up for preorder for an entire month, when the preorder window closes they are then listed as sold out, apparently never to be made again … now, I know these are very limited editions from a small company but just exactly how limited is each one? … does the number of figures they make for each wrestler depend on that particular individual’s preorder sales? … just for an example, let’s say Magnum TA sells 2,000 preorders while Jim Duggan sells 2,200 preorders, would that mean that they will only make 2,000 of Magnum while Hacksaw’s figure has 2,200 produced? … This intrigues me

I could be 100% wrong on this.

I guess since then they're doing month long preorders..

Thanks, I kinda figured that’s the way it works … which also would explain why they are SO expensive on the secondary market

Thanks Factory has ed us with the eyes. Legit ed. We don’t approve what they’ve done. And they do it anyway. We are working towards a fix but it’s frustrating.

But yes, the amount is ordered is what we make. Obviously some extras for customer service and craplike that.

We want the demand > supply…100 percent. But we aren’t limiting how many can be made/order. If someone wanted to order 5,000 Magnum TA figs, they could. The only limit is in the time window. And even that we have extended. We want as many people as possible to order direct from us for the cheaper price. But we also love the insane secondary market prices.

Any chance of redoing demolition in ring gear/different poses or is it to soon to revisit those?

Cardona, Kanik and team, If we could fantasy-book future waves, I’d like a re-do of some of the final LJNs (did LJN even produce these?). Rude’s pose was awful. The color of the rubber scuffed awful for Bigelow, OMG, Honky, and DiBiase. And both Honky and DiBiase being in entrance gear instead of ring gear, while arguably more toyetic, made them less ideal to play with. So, *if* any of them were ever available again, are they on your radar to make? Would you first be looking at entrance gear for Honky and DiBiase, or ring gear? Thanks for your time!

Great idea but all of these besides OMG have WWE legends deals.
