It’s way too late to get into this line and I already have too many collections to focus on at the moment anyways, but I absolutely love this line. Gorgeous figures. Behind Mattel’s Ultimate figures, my favorite wrestling figure line in the game. It’s not too late! Start small! Yeah, I have an original LJN WWF collection (not 100% complete ) but rather than being a BRG completist I’m sticking to the JCP NWA guys from that 85-88 time period a la ljn era. Saves my wallet & display space from buying everything & fun to add the ‘what could have been’. Great companion collection to the originals. Definitely NOT too late to do what I’m doing. Or make your own rules. The Evergreen line makes guys available longer to help jump in. |

It’s not too late! Start small! Brother, I would have to be a completionist and the after market on the early ones is pretty up there. We will see. A local shop has the bloody Flair and I’ve been eyeing the hell of it. Haha That would be a nice figure to start your collection with … I paid $125 for one on eBay about a month ago … it’s limited to 1000 so it’s extremely rare & it’s a great figure |

Ordered LOD instantly. Im just not sure how well hunched over animal fits in until i have it in hand. I may need to grab an extra hawk and swap animals torso on to his legs to make him standing more upright. That’s a pretty brilliant idea! I look forward to seeing if it would work. If not, there is another solid option if someone can find a keyboard in scale:  All jokes aside about Animal’s pose, I think the colorfulness of LOD might just make these the most toyetic figures in this form factor. If these were on shelves at a toy store, even a non wrestling fan would take notice. I was thinking it was like the Scott Hall entrance walk. Wish his pose was more upright like the others but, thats my only nitpick on him. |

It specifically said that it is not a toy on the package! lol. This is one of their iconic poses as it was used on tons of products and promotional material. I am curious to know how the conversation went when deciding which pose to go with. Obviously the kneeling pose would be a no-go. Already decided to make them distinctly different from the NWA Road Warriors. Were one of the Majors staring at an old WWF trunk when the lightbulb went off?  |

I'm a bit bummed to see that the Bad News Brown doesn't have the white detailing on the boots (An issue I have with the ZST also) which he wore for most of the WWF run. It's just a simple thing which would make an otherwise untoyetic figure just that little bit more interesting and show some extra attention to detail. I'll still get it, but will have to backer instead of a fronter :/

I’d call Bad News the plainest figure of the entire line so far … unique accessory however Agreed, but I accept that as part of his gimmick. I look forward to seeing close-up renders. I’m hopeful his expression adds character! |

This line adds to the LJN with NWA/WCW, Modern stars, WWF guys that were missed.

Bad News was no frills and no nonsense, so all black gear works for me. That is how I remember him. The way he has his head is tilted just screams Bad News. LJN promised this 35 years ago. I have wanted it ever since. Thank you for making it happen. |
