Agreed 100% It feels like Mattel is losing interest in the golden era, whereas companies like these are showing there is still more “gas in the tank” when it’s shown proper appreciation and attention. I hope this line can go long and deep for years to come! For me a major issue with the coliseum collection is the inaccuracies. Just look at piper for example. They gave him blue trunks instead of red. The wcw ultimate has blue trunks so not only would red match the ljn but at least it would be an ultimate in a different color. Hart foundation are inaccurate as well as rude and i think jake is too unless he matches the ljn poster. Mattel consistently struggles with details. Anyways did you notice bulldogs only available as a set, maybe this means they're a 2 pack? I'd love that and i wish they did chases in ljn attire I’m ok with there being some differences, myself. And I much prefer this Bulldogs attire to their original LJNs. My biggest issue with the Coliseum Collection is how slow it’s coming out, and how they seem to be letting viable talent go who really should be in the line- like Savage and JYD. And on the opposite end of the spectrum, the Major Pod team is working hard to get us sought after people like Demolition, Bulldogs and Savage. Different directions being shown, for sure! |

I definitely prefer the bulldogs in white but i think a chase ljn option would've been cool too. We know mattel won't do it lol i do prefer accuracy to the ljn for coliseum collection though. I wish they did a flocked steele though |

Are the pics they're showing, other than the one hand painted prototype pic, some sort of digital rendering? Those are digital renderings. We have the hand painted prototypes. But they are hand painted and there are imperfections. The digital rendering is better for promoting for those not in the know. The prototypes have been posting on our social media. |

Got my Demolition set and finally had the chance to open the box.
It’s the regular set which is totally fine with me. I kind of feared to get one of each (was this even possible?) so I am happy to have a matching set.
I must say as nice as they are, I don’t get the nostalgic vibes. I really enjoy them but not sure if I display them with the LJNs I have left… nevertheless this is not effecting the overall score for me. Just a personal preference.
Just to be clear, this set is a homerun. Couldn’t imagine any better start for a line. If I could pick a future set, I’d love to have a matching Road Warriors set.

What about NWA or AWA guys? Are any of you interested in having some of those guys in the form factor? Don’t know how much of a chance there is for them but I’d love to see the Rock & Roll Express at some point soon in the line … those would be a first day order for me!! |

Received my Demolition figures. I got the chases and am happy they arrived.
General thoughts
Figures: awesome. I love them and I look forward to building a collection of these.
Packaging: almost awesome
1.) Like the fact I can remove the figures but I collect MOC so package condition is important for me. There is a tab at the top of the packages to enclose the carding but it doesn’t stay closed. The carding is too long (it’s taller than the plastic on these). I have to damage the carding to get the tab to close over the back. This would be preventable with a shorter carding, and would make it perfect.
2.) Front of packages quite scratched up. Wish it was less noticeable.
These are just my wishes for improvements on future figures. All in all I am impressed as these are my first big rubber guys in hand and I look forward to the next ones!!!

I just saw the new info video on YouTube with TTD. Great stuff! This line is incredible! I can’t wait to get more in hand and see who’s next after The Bulldogs.

I truly believe this will be the 2024 wrestling toy line of the year! With Slaughter, Jannetty, Flar, Savage, Andre, and The Bulldogs all coming in Q1, and new preorders every other month, this line is looking untouchable! An exciting time to be collecting!
