And I still need Bad News Brown to give a ghetto blaster to Bret Hart, sparking his singles/face run! Not signed. Anybody have his info? Have you not asked Josh?

Big Rubber Guys Team, I’m curious about something. There’s buzz on here right now about Ventura and WWE mending bridges. It makes me wonder if the change in management there could lead to more Legends signing deals. That being the possibility, while I understand and respect you not wanting to sign people far in advance like other Indy companies do, might this shift your strategy? I have no clue, legally, how that plays out, of course. If Legend A signs with you on June 1, non-exclusive, then signs a WWE Exclusive Legends Deal later this year, for example, could they still get a figure from you next year since your contract came first? Or is that dependent on how far along in production it was? It would provide an interesting argument for signing Legends in advance, if it “guarantees” the option regardless of their future deals. Just curious. Thank you!

There’s an interesting link I just saw on another thread here about top wrestlers, purely by number of PPV appearances, who do not have Mattel figures. A lot of the Golden Era ones are wrestlers we’ve already been discussing, and even some we have received or will be getting in this line- like Dynamite Kid and Barbarian! Just thought I would share here too, in case people haven’t seen it.
From grandmasterPRA
“Golden Era: Percentage of the top 100 Made by Mattel (65%)
Top 25 Missing:
1. Hercules Hernandez 2. Mr. Fuji 3. Dino Bravo 4. Slick 5. Haku 6. The Barbarian 7. Koko B. Ware 8&9. The Rougeaus 10. Bad News Brown 11. Paul Roma 12. The Dynamite Kid 13. Boris Zhukov 14. Jim Brunzell 15. The Genius/Lanny Poffo 16. The Mountie 17. Ron Bass 18. Brian Blair 19. Frenchy Martin 20. Tanaka 21. Harvey Whippleman 22. Johnny Valiant 23. Ken Patera 24. Repo Man 25. The Fabulous Moolah”

Speaking of Dynamite. Any updates on when the Bulldogs (white) ship? Will the Blue Bulldogs variant (which i also ordered from other site ) be ready at same time?

Thank you for the reply and link. I see it says June now though when originally was estimated as April. Is this due to the packaging being changed to stand up like you mentioned prior?

I love the breakdown of things like this by the numbers...it would be sweet to see some of these companies spreadsheets and see all the cross reference criteria for determining who gets a figure when.

The prototypes/samples were too big. Absolutely the right call to delay them. I feel size and scale is very important in this line.

The more I think about my dream list for this line, after getting us Demolition and the upcoming Powers of Pain, my next biggest want is now Hercules. I know he had an LJN, but it wasn’t wrestling gear, nor his most memorable look. I recently watched a 1987 SNME battle royal during the Mania 3 build. Despite Hogan and Andre also being in the match, it was Herc who came out on top, last eliminating Billy Jack Haynes (to set up/build their Mania match). I know he’s not in our next 6, but hopefully we can get him eventually in this line.
