Producing around 12 a year is really cool. Yikes at $1200 if you are a completist though. I’m trying to remember if they said anything else or note on that episode. Matt had (half-jokingly) floated the idea of a blonde Marty but Brian wasn’t on board (not that it was that serious of a pitch). I think it would be $600 per year, as they are $50 each and 2 every other month, so 12 figures total. Unless of course you need one MOC and one loose for each.

Well Marty Jannetty showed a sketch on his facebook (wrongly describing it as a bendy), so I'll own one...

I saw on Kyle Peterson’s latest weekly YouTube video the request that the second figure with Marty Jannetty in the next wave be Barbarian. I second that! Having him in this line would be amazing as another grail for our long missing LJNs, like Smash. Please make it happen!

Was thinking the same but i wonder if they save him and just do powers of pain as their own buddle. Im all in on this line so ill take whoever they make, especially any omissions from the original line

I think Warlord might be available, he has a figure coming out with one of those smaller companies that is making the Hasbro-style figures. Not ZST, maybe chella (or the company that took over for them). If they have access to both Warlord and Barbarian, it would make better sense to pair them together like Demolition.

It's great to see that FINALLY figures in scale with LJN are being produced. Big thanks to those involved with making this happen. That said, I'm hoping the final figures will have a little more detail in the eyes, and I'm really hoping Smash's paint scheme more closely matches how he wore his paint. Right now the lines aren't sharp enough in my opinion, and it's just not correct regarding where the lines are on his face. E.g., his nose in the pics is completely white; not sure if I ever remember Smash not having a line come down to the tip of his nose. And I know they can't change this now since it's part of the sculpt, but the circle for their straps are too low; should be more center of the torso. I still may purchase, but hoping moving forward some of these smaller details aren't overlooked.

Good call on the face paint reaching Smash’s nose as well as the eyes. It is probably too late on these to fix the eye issue but maybe that is something they can work on going forward. After doing some research, I could see exactly why an LJN fan would find these to be off. Their eyes pretty much universally have white in the center of the pupil to make them seem more alive/give the illusion of reflection. It gives them more life and I can’t believe I never noticed.
Here is something that I learned recently after being a lifelong Demolition fan: their masks are different and no figure company has ever gotten that right to my knowledge. Per wresting_ring_worn on Instagram: “Spike placement and amount are different on all 3 mask, there aren't spikes on the jawline area, Ax has spikes on the outer trim of the hood, all spikes were the same size, also all 3 had studs on the sides of the nose too.”

My only 'gripe' if you want to call it that, is that Smash is a later 80s-90s look. To properly match the original AX, I would have loved a Smash with a short haircut smilar to Ax's.
They are doing an earlier facepaint, but he'll still have a later looking headsculpt.

I grew up on the LJNs, they are still my favorite toys ever, and I still proudly display the whole collection. That said, I’m not too picky- just them releasing more 80’s WWF guys in the same scale makes me super excited and all in for the figs they produce of this era. These are BY FAR the best looking LJN style toys anyone has produced since the originals. No complaints here! Just gotta figure out where I’ll be putting these new gems!

I just listened to the interview with Kanik on Fully Poseable Podcast, and even though I don't collect in this scale, it made me want to go out and buy this to support him and the line.

Tomorrow is last day. We listened to you guys a lot. Here is updated face paint! Oh yeah, that to me looks right! That's Demolition. Here comes the Smasher! I would have to think that if the line was continued in 1989, the Smash that we would have gotten would have looked similar to this. I'm in, will be placing my pre-order today. Can't wait to see Jannetty and the mystery figure!
