Glad I got a Valentine ordered before he sold out. Just The Hammer and Mr. Perfect for me from this set.

So, let's make the elite Hennig have that stupid singlet top but turn right around and make a gorgeous removable singlet for their Superstars Hennig.

Seen a few (including those major bros) saying Perfect didn’t pull his straps down in the 80s or early 90s he only did that when he came back in 02?
He definitely did pull down a strap or two either mid match or at the end on a few occasions in the early 90s, he did it at the end of his match with Luger at Mania 9 (isn’t that what this singlet is supposed to be? Although the yellow is off as usual) off the top of my head and plenty more times I’m sure. Only problem is, he usually would have that classic curly messed up hair by that stage, so it doesn’t really work with this one immaculate hair head…would have been cool to get an ultimate with alternate heads, would have been more appropriate for his bulky build too.

Completely agree about Perfect pulling the straps down. I vividly remember him doing it during his babyface run in the early 90s and I know he was doing that before as well. He did it in the KOTR match against Bret for example. Also agree on it being a cool idea to do the alternate head with the messed-up hair. They're pretty insistent on doing it with Bret Hart's figures but they've never tried to do it with Perfect? The lack of doing the best Perfect attires or anything resembling a definitive Perfect figure from Mattel after the line has been going this long has been questionable to infuriating as a collector.

Yeah I wasn't sure what they were talking about either. I felt like Curt did it quite a bit. It makes sense in theory, but a cloth singlet would have made a lot more sense imo. Just trying to make use of a poorly executed idea they spent money tooling.
Doesn't change the fact I hate how this figure looks. It looks like bikers and a tucked in tank top. Not a once piece singlet. And Mattel still hitting us with the leg sleeves when they're totally wrong is just mind numbing stuff. This is a really weak set for me. The only thing I really want is Triple H's shirt, and I can wait to see if that ends up $6 on clearance.

I couldn't be more disappointed with this Perfect - ugly/cheap looking but that head is beautiful. I'll hold out hope for an Ultimate in the near future, but Mattel's design team has been whiffing a lot of home runs lately imo. Likewise with the Dibiase - fix the height before doing it, Teddy looks like a cruiserweight again. The HHH is lazy. It's pretty obvious the Valentine ate up most of the budget for this set, it's really the only worthwhile figure in the series. It's gorgeous and I really appreciate the thicker, shorter legs.

So the best perfect we’ve gotten yet is still the Heenan pack one Yup. Sadly it’s the only one I own and I don’t even love that one either. Mr Perfect is my favorite wrestler ever and I don’t even have an moc version because none are perfect

It’s the best to me because it’s more to scale height wise and has the bigger arms but we’ve still yet to get that perfect Perfect from Mattel
