If I recall correctly, we found out that RVD was cancelled first and people used the same argument about Strongbow (I guess we need to cancel Strongbow too). Then we found out Strongbow was cancelled and everyone lost their mind. If people keep bringing negative attention to Yoko, Kamala, Razor, Akeem, etc. then Mattel eventually probably won't release them. Hockey Players/Garbage Men are occupations - definitely not equivalent to the Strongbow situation. Haha! You people on here can’t take a joke to save your life. And I can promise you now, Mattel could give a rats ass if people here talked about Kamala, Yokozuna etc . Unless WWE or Mattel higher ups (who aren’t on here reading rather you like a figure or not) tells them to cancel soemthing. 1. I'm sorry that your joke involving false equivalences fell flat. 2. Don't Mattel higher ups work for Mattel? I'm confused. 3. How do you know that WWE or Mattel higher ups arent monitoring the forum or paying people to monitor? And the negative attention doesn't just stay on this board - I've seen it spill over to social media. Most marketing jobs involve some type of social media monitoring/message boards/websites. 4. Mattel probably has more influence on WWE than you think so I think they do give a rats ass about how their company is perceived - they are allegedly part of the reason why WWE went the PG route/toned things down and Mandy Rose was let go. If enough people keep complaining about certain gimmicks, I think Mattel will eventually react to it (as history has shown). It's as simple as that. |
