Love Ric Flair. Always have since the moment I was first introduced to him as a kid when he came into WWF again in 2002. So fun going back and watching his matches now from the 80's and 90's, he was just so good at the old wrestling thing. My most favourite item in my collection is a Ric Flair figure. I'd love to meet him one day and get it scribbled on, haha.

Oldest ride, longest line! WOOOOOOOO!! This will forever be my favorite Ric Flair segment. His ability to go from a smartly dressed composed gentleman to a sweating, swearing, half naked homeless looking madman is truly amazing.

Greatest in-ring performer of all time. Ahead of HBK

The older I got, the more I disliked Ric Flair matches.
I enjoy the matches he had with Steamboat and Windham in the 80s, but mainly because I feel Steamboat and Windham are better wrestlers. One of the best matches I ever seen was in 1993 with Barry Windham vs. Ricky Steamboat actually!
Flair did the same stuff. People can diss Hogan's WWF style of wrestling, but Flair was no better.
Chop, chop, chop, wooooo, wooooo, gets back body dropped, gets thrown into turnbuckle, does flip, runs the apron, gets press slammed off the top rope, perhaps gets press slammed in the ring by Hawk, or Sting, or Luger, I believe a finger to the eye, maybe some more chops, and a shin breaker, and then go for the figure four, get rolled up in a small package, and keep doing that until time limit expires.
He may be the 60 minute man, but his move set just repeats itself during those 60 minutes.

Unpopular opinion: Flair was a routine man. If you’ve seen one Flair match, you’ve seen ‘em all. He just repeated himself over and over. He threw stupid chops that actually hurt his opponents. The art of wrestling is to make it look like it hurts without actually hurting. No psychology. Overrated.

I think I have a love/hate thing with Flair.
Love his career and contributions to the history of my favorite sport
Hate a lot of his antics and the human he’s presented himself as
Then I love the real life Flair because he lives the gimmick
He’s kinda like that old drunk dad. He’s ornery and embarrassing but you still love him

Love Ric Flair up until about 94. I think him beating Vader at Starrcade is the last time I enjoyed his work in WCW. I do enjoy some of his last WWE run though, mainly the matches with Triple H/HBK/Orton.

I can see why those who love him do, but he was never one of my favorites. I liked his WWF run in 91 to early 93, his stuff with Piper at the start was a lot of fun and so was his work with Savage. I would have been interested to see him and Warrior have a program after SummerSlam 92, would have been very interesting to see how they worked together.

He's a sexual predator and should be in prison, you people that still like the guy should be ashamed of yourselves. What kind of human being he is has nothing to do with the classic wrestling board. So please don’t post it here. Let’s keep the discussion to classic wrestling.

2002 was actually a great year for Flair tbh... he had good matches with Taker, Austin, Rock, Hogan, Jericho, Eddie, Lesnar, Vince, RVD..... ffs what a huge lineup!!
