Hey gang,
What combo shirts, boots, and knee pads did Hulk wear when he wore red trunks in the WWF? Apart from the obvious yellow, he seemed to wear white trunks and blue trunks a lot more often than red trunks.
I’m trying to come up with another custom job.

When Hogan “Dusty Finish” won the belt from Bockwinkel in AWA he had red trunks, white black knee pads, and white boots. Had a black t-shirt with white lettering saying “WE WANT THE BELT”
There’s also a promo pic with red trunks and the white American Made shirt and white Hulkster headband, and the 84 belt but with red lettering. Boots and pads colors unknown but I’d assume were white.

There's always a match or a picture that I'll see of Hogan which surprises me. I saw him in yellow trunks with black knee pads. And then the white singlet he had at one time.

Hogan wore white trunks, red boots, a red and white robe, and a white and red feathered hat in Rocky 3 as Thunderlips.

I’ve happened across an AWA match with Dr. D David Schultz where Hogan was wearing red trunks, red kneepads, and red boots.
I thought that was kind of interesting, because I didn’t realize he ever actually wore the attire they had him in on Wrestlemania for the NES.

All the house shows and live events that weren't the ones we saw on TV. Hogan was apparently the same way at some point. I’m so used to classic ‘80s Hulk in yellow trunks and boots, with red or red/maroon knee pads. The strangest look for me for some reason is the pic of HH with the blue knee pads. That just looks so strange! |

Yeah it was sometime between WM2 and WM3 when he went strictly yellow and red. He also didn’t switch up his shirts that much either around that time as well. Pretty much was yellow shirt with red Hulkamania lettering with the occasional red shirt with yellow Hulkamania lettering until Hulk Rules after WM4 and that was all he wore up until after WM7 when he started changing it up more frequently.

I asked about red trunks and boots before, but did Hulk wear all-black boots in his Eighties WWF run?
