Two of the best groups ever… another tough one but I’m going with the Hart Foundation thanks to their 97 run!! I always loved that era.
Both groups were good stuff in the 80s & 90s tbh but I was always a big fan of Bret, Owen & Bulldog so they won it over for me.
Who you going with?

I’ll always maintain Harts are the greatest tag of all time. Just ahead of the Road Warriors. Midnight were great but I don’t think they make the top 5.

Hart Foundation
When they were heels in the early 80s they worked the Killer Bees, British Bulldogs, Rougeau Bros., Young Stallions, the Islanders, and Strike Force
As babyfaces in the late 80s/early 90s they worked with Demolition, the Fabulous Rougeaus, Brain Busters, Powers of Pain, Rhythm 'n' Blues, Power & Glory, the Nasty Boys, plus even matches with fellow good guys the Rockers and the Legion of Doom
That is a pretty all star group of tag teams they worked with.

Gonna go with Hart Foundation. They worked well with every team that the WWF had during their run (1985-1991).

Midnight Express in WWF/E would have been potentially great stuff… around the late 80s or early 90s

Midnight.
From Stu Hart to Matt Hart, the only two members of that entire extended family to have ever gotten a reaction out of me were Bret and Tyson Kidd.
I mean come on, we're comparing a whole 2 tag title reigns to countless tag title reigns depending on which iteration of the Midnight Express you choose. They go over the Hart Foundation 10 times outta 10 for me

at my age and with the ability to watch historic matches and recognize the greatness involved, the midnight express may get the nod as they are a timeless team - great workers that would’ve blended with any time.
but, as a kid renting coliseum videos growing up in 1990s Canada and loving Bret, and also their more superhero muscle appearance, Hart Foundation.

Hart Foundation if it’s just Bret and Anvil. But if it’s the New Hart Foundation I’ll go Midnight Express.

has to be based on the teams really and not the 97 faction. ME's weren't a faction.
Its tight but it has to b Bret & Anvil. One of WWFs top acts from 86-91 and won the straps twice.
