They definitely made a tactical mistake releasing that purple/WM Chyna as her first major figure. It should’ve easily been her definitive 1999 look - long hair, black leather and chains, etc. Maybe throw in the pyro bazooka.
That purple bikini/big hair look just isn’t what comes to mind when people think of her and that’s why I think it tanked. Hell the two pack championship set with Trish was a repaint but still looked better. Pyro gun > weird  ing 50's greaser puppet. That thing was cursed! |

Jesus Christ, that Bret head... Honestly, all they have to do is not make UE Eddy orange, maybe do the Halloween Havoc'97 tights properly and this would be an all-timer.  Can't get over how dope those head sculpts are just wait until you see the gigantic torso |

They’ve got two guys who need an updated weightbelt and it’s Hogan and Cody. Two different torso sizes so they’d need a specific mold for each. Two new molds.. on cash cow characters.. What am I missing here? They make random one off molds all the time. They molded hockey skate boots for a Walmart exclusive elite. |

My thoughts on the reveals.....
• Again terrible live coverage. During the pandemic they had taped reveals on YouTube, so im used to that. These YouTube influencers - yes the ones who get the free SDCC exclusives - their videos and faces are plastered over YouTube. But then when their videos are needed for coverage of these events, they are nowhere to be found. Then they all pop up, ten of them at once like a stream of buses when you already have found out everything and their videos are old news.
Delighted that Captain Lou Albano was announced as an elite. In exactly the attire and appearance that I wanted him in.
That Becky Lynch is one of the best elites I have seen.
Roddy Piper Coliseum Collection is one of the best figures that I have seen.
I love when they have these creative, out of the box ideas for figures and The Rock in a Hawaiian shirt is a great example. Well executed figure. I just don't want to get the other two in the three pack.
Both John Cena and The Rock look great from the Wrestlemania XL elite series and it's a great starter pack for a Wrestlemanias XXVIII display.
I think they may have shown a few too many Hulk Hogan figures, unnecessarily so. I don't want Japan Hogan or 1980 WWE Hogan.
I knew they would somehow include The Sultan in the reveals. I thought that they were going to struggle getting new names in the line and that they would use The Sultan.
Yokozuna Ultimate Edition looked great and am glad he came with a robe.
When I was reading through and read that Hart Foundation were going to be in the Coliseum Collection I thought "this is going to be fun" alAt first everyone was excited for the announcement. Most people wanted to see this in the Coliseum Collection for some reason. I was thinking no,no and no. They released a Beer Hart Hart Foundation elite and I thought it was one of the worse face scans I had ever seen and yet I knew they would use it again for these figures. And they did. For figures that are probably going to be priced at ÂŁ70, for them to make a final product with those Beer Hart face scans and expect people to pay that price for it. Frankly it's insulting and disgusting. These could sell badly and kill the line. I can't justify paying for this series with such poor quality face scans. A pass for me.
Randy Savage not being in the line put a dampener on it for me. But also a bit concerning was the lack of Jake The Snake Roberts representation. Has his deal now quietly expired also?

I don’t know if I’m lucky or just don’t take it as seriously, but I am overall really pleased with the reveals. I don’t collect Legends or anything though, even though I recognize how well some turned out, boat shoes Rock in particular. I would have liked to see a few more “First Elites” for guys like Pretty Deadly but now that they’re on the main roster they’ll get their moment eventually. My sympathies to those who didn’t get what they were hoping for.
