Nah. Not everything needs to be ultimate. What would be the benefit? Couple extra heads and hands you don’t need and a couple more points of articulation for $30 more? These looks work just fine as elites. The benefit to me is I prefer ultimates. More articulation and more accessories. They cost more. More money to Mattel. So I’m just here to help. I prefer Ultimates as well. Not to mention, the Hogan ultimate bodies are taller. Someone on here posted for me comparison pics of an elite 80s era Hulk back to back with an ultimate 13 Hulk. UE13 was taller, and looked much better when sized against figures of Macho Man and other wrestlers. And the FanTakeover is as tall as UE13. |

I mean, it looks fine, but I’m kind of surprised they didn’t give the Hogan with the bandana in his teeth more of a wild-eyed expression that’s showing more teeth. Hogan looked surprisingly calm when he would come out with his headband in his mouth. Strange. What’s worse for me is how someone here said he looks like Venom! Now all I see when I look at that head is a giant tongue! |
