Thank you Mattel for making this year's a much better experience!
My wait was for 2 minutes (though it was almost certainly longer but I was on edge so can't swear to it), the captcha went round twice but other than that is was smooth. My card was saved in the browser which Creations didn't like, but manually re-entering it (very quickly) solved that.
The card then insisted I approve on the app, but still even with that I got my order in within 6 minutes.
Hopefully this is the standard going forward with SDCC releases!

Well that kinda pisses me off. I can easily order Ali if I wanted to still, but the Hogan/Zeus was such a pain in the ass. Its because wrestling fans want a Hulk Hogan figure and have clammored for a Zeuz figure for years No one asked for Ali. You may have wanted Ali when you saw it, but no one wanted it.Β

As far as Iβm aware, Ali was involved in the first high profile βcelebrityβ wrestling match. Pre dating even Andy Kaufman. That is a big deal and did in-fact have an impact on pro wrestling as celebrity and athlete involvement have become more of an attraction since then. To say otherwise is goofy. Ali walked so Bad Bunny, Snooki, and Drew Carrey could run. Yeah link Bad Bunny, who the majority would agree, just had a major match at a big event in Puerto Rico with Snooki and Drew Carrey. Big oof. |

Last year's sold out in like 8 minutes, but it looks like this one is still there after 15 minutes. 8 minutes my ass That seems about right. I had gone through the process, and when I got to the 'waiting to checkout' screen, my timer said I had a 10 minute wait. When I got down to about 2 minutes left, it suddenly was gone. |

Iβve gotten lucky and landed all the SDCC exclusives Iβve tried for (Mr. T/No Holds Barred/Ali). I over slept on Slaughter but wasnβt collecting at the time.
