Maybe he would come in and work main event program with Austin/Rock/Angle/HHH/Etc at some point but quickly fall down the card and lose his program. Maybe short loved IC title reign and a tag team with Beniot would be cool. Then leaving the company and maybe having total run of 1.5-2 years lol.

Heyman used Awesome to absolute perfection in ECW at a time when they were low on stars.He could be a monster cause their weren’t that many big guys in ECW. Problem was at the time WCW & WWF had a ton of huge men even guys fans didn’t think of as big like Billy Gunn. Awesome was a limited performer who was bad at promo’s who’s one advantage he had in ecw being big wasn’t the case in WCW or WWF. Vince had way better options than Awesome & the style Awesome would need to work wouldn’t fly with Vince as he wouldn’t want his top stars like Austin,Rock,HHH,Taker,etc taking super risky moves like top rope powerbombs.

I completely forgot Awesome returned to WWE in 2002 (doing jobs exclusively on Velocity to the likes of Funaki & Tajiri).

Probably a program with Taker and Kane before the Rock absolutely destroyed him on the mic and beating him to the mid card.
