I don't care for wcw cactus, he was referred to 3 faces of Foley using his WWE cactus jack persona. Mankind doesn't have a molded scar, it's painted. The outside box is actually pretty cheap, there's no plastic barrier, which could easily be torn down the line. (It got stuck trying to pull it out of the shipper) They are not ultimate. It's definitely a bit overpriced for what it is. |

Got my Cactus today. I love the way they dis the shirt. It was my dream Cactus. I wish he has a more neutral or closed mouth expression. I also feel he is a tad over priced, but I did not want to miss out now and pay more later. I am intrigued by the Mankind and if he goes down in price I may pull the trigger. I would love to see him compared to the mainline elite 1996 Mankind. I bought the head from the ECW exclusive and may do a hair swap/ head swap because I sort of think this face sculpt is a bit caca sadly. It is better then the elite Foley that looked like he had a wet dog on his head though.
*update* with the help of boiling water and a hobby knife I was able to remove the hair from the WCW Cactus. It was nerve wracking but I am glad to have done it. Now I will wait to recieve the ECW head in the mail to repeat the process and see if I am as happy with this idea as I think I will be

Is it me but does every Mick Foley elite look way to skinny? Mick Foley was thick especially from the waist down to the thighs while these figures make him look like his dieting. In my personal opinion Jakks captured Mick Foley way better than Mattel.

In my personal opinion Jakks captured Mick Foley way better than Mattel. The hips/thighs are better than previous versions (that I had at least) in my opinion. My biggest gripe is how muscular his arms look. He’s shredded. |

I love the figures but my Cactus has the loosest right leg ever. Straight up floppy. I'm going to have to stand him on his left leg. Either that or take his shirt off and tighten it with some floor wax. But I really shouldn't have to.

Jakks originally gave all Mick Foley figures big biceps but when the toyfair exclusive Cactus Jack was released Jakks made new bicepless arms which captured his look even better. 👍 |

I agree with others who say it should have been WWF Cactus Jack, preferably RR2000. But I am glad we finally got a WCW Cactus Jack in the line. Now I just need a pink Sting from Beach Blast 1992.

Yeah a WWE Cactus would have made more sense in this set. But that said Cactus is my favorite of the three faces. And I’ve been wanting a WCW Cactus since Jakks CS days. So I was glad when mine arrived the other day. The only thing I don't like is how ripped his arms are. I like the size of them because Mick was a big guy, but they shouldn’t be ripped. But I do like them more than the arms they were giving Mick. I do think I might go and order the whole set at some point to get the updated Mankind and Dude Love and a second Cactus.

For just a penny off of 100 bucks…the accessories are…scant…I mean, I like the figures…I just thought there should be a little more “bang” (no pun intended…or maybe…yeah…pun intended?) for our bucks. The presentation is great, but something is…lacking. Also, so I don’t have to make 2 posts, I really hope we get an April-May 1998 Heel Dude Love with the turquoise tights and the more Full hair at some point…

I think the Mankind looks especially ridiculous. For this pricepoint, why the hell can't they put the correct arms on the figures? $99 for three Elites with sort of average accessories...OK, for Foley, I can bite that bullet. Now I need to find 3 newer spare Elites with smaller arm molds that I'm OK with being armless bodies/inaccurate to appease the fix. THAT is frustrating. |
