I found them here in VA but what confused me is the packaging says WWE 60th Anniversary and at SDCC The packaging said Then Now Forever Together

The Becky "debate" might be the dumbest thing that's ever happened on this board, and that really says a lot.
Anyway, I'll probably pick this set up if either of my local Targets ever gets them. Considering the fact that they never saw the Raw 30th pack, I'm not holding my breath.

TOTALLY, 100% understand the frustration to include Becky in this set. Total BS move. Sure, this set needed a current talent and arguably women representation. But this was not it, and if Mattel's business strategist ignores the glaring fumble, I'd look back at their track record and say that I'm not surprised one bit.
Becky is the hottest woman talent WWE has and hasn't had an updated figure in how long? She has tons of toyetic looks yet we've had a E100 figure and the SvS Elite in red attire. Before that, what was the last Elite Becky we had? Elite 72 in her late 2019 gear? She has soooo many unique gears and Mattel has played it safe with her last 2 figures.
Personally I'm not going to fret because I actually do like the entire set. Rocky will fit in well with my New Gen set, I love old man Austin, and that Hogan at least is like a pinnacle Hogan that Mattel knocked out of the water.
But dull headed as **** to put Becky's BEST and most updated Elite in an $80 retail exclusive box set. HUGE star, on TV every week, giant merch mover -- why the hell would they do this? Give one good reason besides GREED and Mattel knowing people will begrudgingly drop $$$ on this for 3 figures they don't want so much and one that they're really missing from their collection.
Also, I imagine we are going to see tons of these with repacks -- probably even Austin, Hogan, Rocky, and a random women's basic figure stuffed in there.
Sometimes I imagine this company's board room is a chimp playing Jenga.

The WWE is high on Becky. Sheβs featured in the Then, Now Forever video they show at the start of every television show. And she is the only modern name they feature during the Raw information on the cable channel guide. If anything they should have replaced the Rocky Miavia figure for an Undertaker. As he and Austin are mentioned with Becky in the program listing.  That said itβs an easy pass for me, because I only want the Hogan. Already have that version of Miavia and I like the HOF Austinβs more. And Becky I am not a fan of that attire so $80 for just wanting the Hogan is way more than Iβm willing to spend. |
