Nothing... and the SteveHulk means NOTHING will ever top that year we had Hogan, Razor and Sting in the line for the first time... plus 1st time for guys like Doink, X-pac, JYD, Earthquake etc too. I think it was 2015(?). The Hogan, Razor and Sting year was incredible. Who could’ve imagined they would drop the ball on Sting though. Mattel buried Sting. Almost as badly as the son-in-law did. Almost.

Surprised with the lack of RVDs and Kurt Angles, even Cody Rhodes. Weakest SDCC imo I'll give it a D

The new Basic articulation is probably the best overall contribution to the line. More flashbacks in the regular Basic waves is always a plus. Boxed sets are on the rise. Elite and Ultimate flashbacks continue to have a strong presence. Superstars and Retros are still chugging along. A little something for everyone, I believe.
Having said that, the Savage speculation kind of put a damper on things. I don’t think he would have factored in greatly this past week, but his absence was felt. The failure of the crowdfund also hung like a dark cloud. We should have been celebrating the tie-in with the Monday Night Wars line, but alas it wasn’t meant to be. Maybe some characters like Bret could use a break so that Mattel can go back to the drawing board for their likenesses. It’s also hard to feign excitement for Walmart exclusives when they’ve given us every reason not to trust them.
If there were a crossover B-/C+ option, that’s the one I would choose. But since there isn’t, it’s between either a B or C for me. Because Mattel actually got me interested in collecting Basics again and I never thought I would say those words for the rest of my living days, I’ll slide them a B.

C for me...upcoming legends waves are underwhelming.
CC Harts are meh.
Some good stuff in there though...Beware of Dog & 2 Man pPower Trip basic 2 pack are nice 👍
Loving 03 Steiner too.

For sure there was alot of high spots but also alot of low spots as well. But usually in a few weeks after SDCC they have a big announcement or 2. I was very disappointed in the Monday Night Wars Series 2 set. Where's the NWO Disciple, Booker T, Kurt Angle, etc. I also liked the debut of Captain Lou and shockingly Bam Bam Terry Gordy. Yokozuna UE was very nice. I was also surprised on no Cody Rhodes Elites and a UE. I gave it one thumbs up and one thumbs down.

D because the figures are better than what was out 20 years ago but it’s really an F once you think about the potential names available and look choices/execution

Honestly think if Mattel didn't reveal so much on preview night (which they usually don't do), we all would have been far more impressed with the panel.

Below par at best.
The endless re releases, average choices for Ultimates, same characters over and over.
Best part was Legends reveals, at least they were different.
Ultimates are baffling - why do a Roman repaint so soon? Did anyone honestly want that Bray? Why hasn't Cody been in mainline UE? Bret UE face scans are dreadful. Piper with wrong kilt.

No Macho, Steiners, was hugely disappointing
I like the FTILs but thought we would see more than what we got
A lot shown was just plain boring. They’ve had the line for so long now it’s going to get hard to excite us long time collectors
Need more WCW characters other than the same NWO rehashes

I'd say a C. There was probably the same amount of figures as last year as far as figures I'm actually getting, but I did think the overall presentation was a weaker showing overall. Also, not spreading a fee reveals over Friday and Saturday made it feel like a smaller showing even if the same amount of stuff was shown as previous years.

I think you guys are all sounding a little harsh.... there was a lot of good stuff here!
Hulkamania Jimmy Hart - looks great! New Jerry Lawler (royal jacket & crown look we haven't gotten before) - looks great! Hogan 3-pack looks great New Superstars look great - Andre! I want Doink for the jacket, I just know it'll fit the Elite Doink, right? Captain Lou Albano - FTIL
New Retros - how in the world are they still keeping this line alive? I'm glad they are, though!
Monday Night Wars - great start - let's see how deep they'll go - - - I'm disappointed there is BAF on these as they will already be hard enough to find. Let's be sure to short-pack certain figures as well to make this a real headache. I'm also slightly skeptical that this line will be as good as it COULD be without Sting, Flair, Savage, Kevin Sullivan, Arn Anderson, Ric Flair, Malenko, Glacier, Goldberg (?), etc.
Faces of Foley - not for me but I'm glad they are doing it for those who want it. Is this Mankind the first "THREE-release?" As this is the 3rd time they are putting this figure out..... early Rocky Maivia may fit that category too.
Ultimate Roddy Piper - this might be my biggest disappointment - as the hair is wrong, the kilt is wrong, and I can't tell but I'm quite sure he'll have a "super-ripped" abs/torso under that shirt and I'm sorry..... Piper had a bit of a tub by this point.
Coliseum Hart Foundation - they look fine but I may have to pass on this.... how much Hart Foundation stuff do I really need? Not a knock on the product, just my collection is too..... bloated at this point?
There was lots more that I'm sure I'm forgetting....
I do think maybe this year's presentation lacked that one big "WOW" that it needed to win us over.
I give it a B-

Personally it's an A+ just for Ultimate Asuka. But trying to be objective it feels like a B, B-. Loss of Macho Man hurts, he's one of the only retro names I buy regularly. I collect a lot of modern, especially the women's roster, so that was a good showing for me with a number of first Elites and line debuts. Mostly I get the sense people had really specific expectations that didn't pay off the way my top want finally did this year, so I sympathize. I've been there before.

Grade C for me, a few cool Legends reveals but I was disappointed by the lack of FTIL WCW figures

I went with a C, but mostly just due to the fact that not much of it appealed to me. I primarily collect WCW and Attitude Era stuff. I'm excited for the Monday Night Wars stuff, but I'm not super excited about the selections. So many promo/clothes attires. Nothing on the WWF side of that series has wowed me either. The first Scott Steiner being a WWE version does nothing for me, as it's only WCW versions that I want. Tag Steiners are my major want in the entire line at this point, and them not being shown makes me sad. Cloth singlet Angle isn't anything I like either. Would have MUCH rather that been sculpted.
They showed some cool stuff off and I'm happy for the people that are getting what they wanted, but overall it didn't impress me much.

Fatter Paul Bearer, WWE Scott Steiner and a Referee are all that I remember seeing and having an interest in.
Can anyone tell me where i can see all the stuff from this? I remember seeing a few pics here and there on a thread here, but I'm not sure if it was a full list of everything.

I’m gonna have to give it an A because some of my most requested figures are finally coming out. WCW Cactus, Hulk Still Rules, 1st title win Hulk, 1st title win Mankind, SS91 Warrior, and two man power trip.
