90's. I wasn't alive in the 80's. The 90's shifted into a grittier product that changed the wrestling world forever. 90s really revolutionised the game

I first heard of wrestling sometime in 1991, so I have to go for the 90s as I followed it in real time, though I drifted off during 98.
I did go back at the peak of my wrestling interest and rent out many of the videos of the 80s PPVs (at least back to WM3) so I have a real appreciation for that era and the huge characters it spawned (which outnumber the number of 90s superstars), but all in all 90s wrestling was what hooked me and what I still think back most fondly of.

80s over 90s. If I could have my 80s NWA/AWA/WCCW, then sneak in 90s ECW, then have current AEW ... and erase anything related to cartoon WWF, Attitude Era, nWo era, and MNWs from my mind ... life would be perfect. what a wild take

Or a perfectly sane one.

'90s for me hands down.
Some great Super Jr. tournaments in the first half, Bret Hart singles run, Monday Night Wars (incredible Cruiserweight division in WCW, Stone Cold, The Rock, OG Kane, Mankind, DX, nWo, Raven's flock, Nation, Hart Foundation, DDP, Booker T., etc.).
What a time to be a fan.

90s definitely. Nothing anyone did in the 80s compares to 1998 WWF to me.

Imagine thinking AEW is better than the last 35 years of the WWF/E plus WCW and saying youβre sane.

I'd have to say the 90s. Sorry, boomers.

Oh wow....
So 80s I was a kid, but a lot of stuff I do remember from that era. Plus I had the LJN wrestling figures to play with.
But 90s gave us Hasbros and Jakks BCA figures. Also gave us the Hogan era, the New Generation Era and the Attitude Era.......
I will pick the 90s but by a slim margin.

90s for me although 95 is a rough year to get around for wrestling as a whole.

i like them both for altogether different reasons. I grew up in the 90s and loved the excitement of the attitude era, but the 80s product stands up over time a bit better imo. not so much filler.

New Generation era sucked but it still had its moments.. the rest of the 90s was the best time in wrestling tbh 80s was also an epic time in wrestling... AEW has been good too
