I am rearranging my game/toy room and one of the cooler things I have is my WWE World Heavyweight Championship Replica Belt that I got for my 21st birthday in 2003! To say that time flies is a massive cliche is an understatement, but holy crap is it true! Anyway, my folks really wanted to get me a replica title for my birthday and I had a really hard time choosing which one to get. It was basically between this and the Winged Eagle. Now some may say why they hell did I pick this title instead of the Winged Eagle when that was the title I grew up with! Well, the reason was that when we were in the store (which was the Newcastle Wrestling Shop which was a store I loved by the way) the guy said that for an extra (I cannot remember how much exactly) bit of money, I could get a name plate professional pressed onto it instead of just having it blank. I know that Shawn Michaels held this belt for like a month tops, but his return and winning this title was huge for me. Plus now when I think about it, I would bet that not a ton of people who got this belt, got it with Shawn Michaels name on the name plate! Most of the ones I have seen over the years have been Triple H, John Cena, Edge, Undertaker or it being just blank. Actually, when I was getting it, the dude in the store thought that it was weird I did not want Triple H on it! I love this thing! However, father time has not been kind to it, one of the small gems from the crown has fallen out and one of the little backsuplexing guys has gone a bit tarnished too! I just wish I could display it better, in my old game room, I had it hanging across the wall and it looked so much better than being folded up. I know that there are some of you guys on here who have amazing replica belt collections so feel free to share them and your stories behind them. By the way, I am fully aware that technically if we are being historically accurate it is 21 years of WWEs big gold, but this is about when I got the belt

A belt that looked good on everyone. Rare that is.

The only replica belt I got is the one you see in my sig. Yeah I wouldve preferred if it had the F in it but its still beautiful and is a top piece in my collection room
Winged Eagle and Big Gold will always be the best belts of all time

Have you thought about getting the dual-plated version of the winged eagle? Just an FYI, WWE has the Big Gold Belt without the WWE logo on it on their sight now. Not the WWE version, but the one from the 80s and 90s WCW.

You know, the WW logo on it looks good, but now that you have said that I wonder if that was what put me off getting it all those years ago For me the best set of belts are the Wingead Eagle, the 80s and 90 IC and Tag titles that was the ultimate trinity for me, I hated when they changed the IC belt during the Attitude Era. I am not a fan of most of the modern titles, I think that they look tacky as hell.

Throw in the Million $ Belt and that pretty much rounds out my Mount Rushmore of belts. I'm also in the same boat as you, I would like to get the winged eagle belt, but I just can't pull the trigger because of the WWE logo. But, the belt does look nice.

I still recommend it though brother beyond that. Nice weight and man does it look awesome displayed

They also have the classic tag belts(no WWF logo though due to copyright),NWA 10 lbs,Andre's belt among others. Check em out www.fandubelts.com/shop?page=2

To be fair, I do not think the retro WW logo is bad at all, I hate it when then use their new WWE logo on retro products though, it sticks out like a sore thumb. Also, I would say that I much prefer the style of Winged Eagle belt that The Brain has over the dual plated one. If I were to get a Winged Eagle belt, I would love the purple strap Ultimate Warrior version

If it had that current WWE logo it wouldve easily been a pass

Not a fan of the red gems going around it. The only version I like is the one that Ric Flair was first in possession of.

WHC is my favorite belt and imo, the very best looking wrestling championship ever.
I miss the days of wrestling titles looking like actual wrestling titles.

The “Big Gold” has been my favorite belt design from the moment I became a fan back in 1994. I have one replica belt and it’s the Fandu gold-version with a Rick Rude nameplate. Love it.

I've never owned a replica belt but this is beautiful. Between this, the 4th IWGP heavyweight title and the Big Gold, there has never been a better title design imo. So elegant.

Yep, Rude's run in the early 90s with WCW was pretty great. Nice choice with putting his name on the name plate.
