Remember when Mattel thought Eddie's boots were orange and people were literally defending it? Only for them to fix them to the correct light goldish color in the final production? Mind you, we had this debate when Legends 6 Eddie came out too, only for it to be brought up again with the UE.

Very simple folks, if we keep buying crappy figures Mattel will continue to put them out. I would have bought this but I passed because it looks so bad. I saw it at the store and I left it right there on the shelf.
As it stands right now, I won't be buying Mr. Perfect either.

http://instagram.com/p/Cu7zw93SPnU How come this guy's (Pat McAfee) arms πͺ got unnoticed. His arms are as muscular as cena and the rock, but Austin gets malnourished arms.

People have been begging for pull down singlets for years and I don't think it looks bad at all. At least Mattel are doing something different which I welcome. Would you prefer the lame skinny mould he's had for over a decade? Have we? I genuinely donβt see this. Certainly if Mr Perfect was to have one Iβd have wanted his summerslam 91 look when it actually happened. Did the yellow singlet ever get pulled down? Henning has dropped his straps a lot but I can't remember which colour his singlet was when it happened. However, for years people have been asking for an Angle figure with pull down straps which IMO would be better done in cloth.

If I bought this Perfect Iβd display it with the straps down. Assuming I could even get them off without ripping it

Hopefully a Coliseum Collection Dibiase will be more to scale. I get really annoyed with how short his figures have been. Iβm pretty sure his figures are shorter than Virgil and he is a few inches taller than Virgil.

Very disappointing.
Was looking forward to replacing the Legends version I bought a few years ago, but outside of the improved head scan I just can't justify it for all the reasons mentioned already. The majority of the issues that have been brought up with his figures in the past continue to go unnoticed.
Wouldn't even feel like much of an upgrade at this point. As annoying as the rubber top/oversized kneepads/long legs are, my biggest gripe might be the paler skin stone. If he had the deeper tan I really think people would be more forgiving of its faults. Myself included.

A logical choice would have been regular trunks Hennig from 1988 and then a cloth Mr. Perfect outfit over it. The elastic fabric they've been using probably would have worked well (I know, UE Kurt Angle is doing it... will it turn out alright?) and you get 2 looks. I guess that's a no-no to provide options (I mean, they did it for Sid Justice with the ref outfit) and "logical" doesn't seem to be in Mattel's vocabulary.

THIS is what we've been asking for, people saying we've wanted this rubbery crap are not accurate. The Superstars line Curt is the correct way.

I would have liked to see molded trunks with an "Executive Consultant" cloth neon track suit over-top. That would have provided options & looked neato!

Just saw this on Facebook. How old is this figure? Just about 2 years? Look how ragged that rubber top is. He says its hanging like that now because one of the shoulder straps and the side seam have completely dry rotted now. I have soft goods from BCA figures that are in better condition than that. Mr. Perfect will have the same fate, I presume.

Nice idea with the straps, but theyβll need to do some work to perfect it. Decent effort but it would honestly put me off buying it.

Hammer has comically large thighs They look very accurate to me. WAY better than the chicken legs they gave his first figure. Gonna have to buy a second to use them on Gordy, since the spreadsheet loves giving Sheik/Duggan torso legends those damn scrawny legs

We really need an ultimate edition perfect thats done right Thicc, tanned and a molded singlet. Also the right height would be a bonus I understand that mattel cant get everything "perfect" but mr perfect was a big dude. Big chest. Big arms etc. He doesnt deserve a figure with a tiny waist Not my custom ^ but this would be really what we need. A little more of a tan would be cool too but really just a sculpted singlet thats a little big bigger
