Dusting each individual shelf takes me at least a day by the time I take them all off, dust the shelf, swiffer and toothbrush each figure them put the m back.   |

Gotta save for a couple IKEA Detolfs man. Having the glass door in front stops so much dust from getting in.

Do you use anything on the figures to dust as not to damage them? Especially for different surfaces and soft goods.

Do you use anything on the figures to dust as not to damage them? Especially for different surfaces and soft goods. I just give them a light swiffer then use a toothbrush on the smaller areas, like in the joints and on the eyes and hair. |

I actually have one still in the box in the basement, but I'd probably need 3 or 4 to display what I have in this unit because of the depth and height, and I certainly dont have the room for that in this room. If I win the lotto I can buy a bigger house! |

Do you have a theme to the different shelf levels? Seems like different wrestlers from different generations together on the same shelf.

I took my Lego down the other day because dusting it is just impossible.
I need a case or something for them - figures are way easier even in volume but still a right pain.
Find my funkos are really the only ones easy to dust because the ones I gave on display are well weighted (the 3 bret ones, bulldog, lawler and iron man match Shawn

Its a labor of love, I have 2 Detolfs and still have to dust probably once a month. The joys of living in AZ and having to run the AC all the time.

I have Detolf cabinets to display my stuff in, but I'm considering buying some IKEA Billy bookcases instead as I like the look better and have seen some pretty rad displays where people have installed LED strip lighting to them.
I know I'd be in for dust hell if I made the switch but the front door of the Detolf pisses me off. Due to the strength of the magnet on the door, it sometimes takes some extra oomph to open it which ends up shaking the entire unit and causes figures to fall down.

Do you have a theme to the different shelf levels? Seems like different wrestlers from different generations together on the same shelf. No theme at all. It's Tetris style lol. I put them where they fit. If I got a small space, AJ Lee goes there. Taller guys usually in the back because theyre easier to see. |

I blow mine off with compressed air as part of my weekend cleaning habbits. Never have to do a big dusting really. Though i only have 4 small shelves that arent behind glass doors.
