So it does appear that her and the company agreed to part ways.
I mean what is there to say, they tried to push her a million different ways and it just never worked out.

I felt she had potential. He was one of the taller/muscular women, where the majority of their roster outside of a few (Rhea, Charlotte, Bianca, Raquel) are 5’1”.
They really did her in with the character changes and heel/face turns. She didn’t do herself any favors getting pregnant right before she was supposed to win the title, but it is what it is.
If wrestling is something she wants to stick with, maybe she’ll be able to catch on someplace else and establish a consistent gimmick/character, and in a few years she might be able to circle back to WWE.

I thought she had a ton of potential when she was in NXT but she's never did anything on the main roster that I was even half interested in. Maybe a trip to the Impact Zone with their women's division could be very helpful to her if she wants to continue in wrestling

When they changed her gimmick it was the beginning of the end. The fans just couldn't get behind it.
The Southern Belle character was perfect and drew heat.

Southern Belle Lacey was a good character, imo. WWE has a hard time properly booking a handful of guys, much less their inability to have good writing for the women so she was probably doomed no matter what.
I know she’s had some controversial opinions so of course you’re going to have people glad to see her go simply because they can’t accept that someone has a differing opinion.

Lacey was more of a Vince girl and once Paul took over creative it all changed, she has had gimmick changes left and right for anybody to care.

Quiet releases just don’t do it for me. Everyone with an expiring contract should have to choose between being kicked out of the building like Heenan on Raw, thrown out like DJ Jazzy Jeff, or made to take the stairs like Damon and Kadeem. Gotta pick one.
