So, with his appearing on WWE produced documentaries and the Puerto Rico PPV, I think a Savio is a lot more likely than not. And I say bring him on. But what look would you guys like first? I put up the attires I remember seeing him in.

Baby face to go with Razor and it’s not even close for me. I actually don’t think we’ve ever had any company make that look in figure form (excluding Mitch’s upcoming). IIRC, his first BCA was NOD.
If we did get his LB look, I’d need a Miguel Pérez. All covered in fur.

Will definitely need a Retro in his red and black baby face attire. He always felt like someone who belonged in that line.
NOD seems like an obvious one, but Boricuas feels less likely. The chances of Mattel making the other 3 Boricuas is almost zero, so I don't feel like I need one.

The Caribbean Strap match with Austin ruled. For that reason alone, I’d go with the ‘96 red shirt/black pants look first.
I would seriously buy one of each if Mattel made Kwang, Babyface Savio in white, NOD Savio, Los Boricuas Savio, and Present Day Savio.
At least one of those HAS to have a chase.

I always found him boring, but I would buy a babyface run.
We need more New Gen figures. I would probably be more excited for a Kwang figure.
Both would also look good in the retro and Superstars lines.

Yeah, but I'm in the boat of "Hey, it's a new legend and he had his place in the history of wrestling and my growing up watching wrestlers...arguably larger than that of someone like an Isacc Yankem or a Shockmaster...so I'd like a figure of him" plus, we have the Austin from this feud (Flashback 3?) so it's not like he wouldn't have a place in the collection." |
