Maybe they meant the new look legends packaging inspired by the OG packaging? It was shown at the Mattel panel. Either way super happy for OMG in the line. I actually own the original unreleased cardback from Series 5 so always hoped to display him next to this one day!  |

Did they get 'round to actually making the Series 7 cardbacks? (I think it was Magnum, Andre, Austin, and DDP) I asked him that. Only digitally I think. Mattel used their artwork for Andre Matty Collector and the Magnum that was released in the elite line (lost legends). Also they did artwork for Miss Elizabeth. He doesn’t think any proof cards were made for Series 7 though. He also said they did artwork for the Fabulous Rougeau Brothers and the 2010 SDCC Undertaker. You can see the legends style on the back of the box. |

Would love to see Mattel mix it up a bit and do his red-trim attire, instead of the more common black&white Sunglasses, chain and removeable denim vest accessories. Ideally I'd like more than one headscan too, for variety.   |

It would be kind of a blessing in disguise if we were to get it now, just because we’re in the era of multiple TrueFX heads, extra hands, pinless joints, and so forth.
I know the original prototype had him doing that “DOOOO!” scream, but I’d love to see an extra smirking scan like the cardback art and hopefully a frowning/determined face like we got with Akeem. I know that’s getting into UE territory, but this figure has been hyped up for so long it deserves it.
I know I’d buy one to open, one to get signed, and probably a couple to have that unique torso for customs.

He was barely around long enough to be noticed, they throw the US Title on him after a dark match that he actually loses, and then immediately drops the belt to a completely unknown (to most US fans) Konnan wrestling his second match on national tv. But I'd be down for a figure to pair with The Shark and Zodiac. |
