Danielson came out here on short notice and had an absolute classic. Not that I doubted he couldnβt but this man really is a once in a lifetime talent

Danielson came out here on short notice and had an absolute classic. Not that I doubted he couldnβt but this man really is a once in a lifetime talent American Dragon is always on point. Heβs for sure a highlight on the roster, alongside Christian, MJF, Hobbs, FTR, Starks, Toni, Statlander, Britt, Omega, Hangman, Swerve, Darby & Rush. If they were able to focus on more of the solid individuals itβd be a more enjoyable experience. Hopefully if BD takes over the punk roll for collision itβll get back to being sports based. Bring back Thatcher as well, and Iβll be all in. I got to catch a dark show match with the American Dragon close to 20 years ago. Heβs a very special talent

Orange vs Mox may be one of my favorite matches of the year

Orange should have won.
Moxley doesn't need the belt.

I'm watching a bit late but I think All In filled my need for a PPV, this isn't hitting for me.
I'm not really sure on what the card is other than a few matches, I've had to skip rampage and Collision because of work schedule, and not wanting to have to watch 7+ hours of wrestling to catch up properly on my day off.
having 2 PPVs so close together sucks this show feels like an after thought so far. I hope it picks up.

I enjoyed the show. Women's match was cheeks and the 4v4 was a clusterf**k but what 4v4 isn't? Miro got his W while also keeping Hobbs strong looking. Danielson and Starks went to war. Omega/Takeacrapa was fun and stiff (pause) and I enjoyed the Main Event especially. Love seeing MJF/Cole do their thing and the Darby match was as expected. He makes any big guy look like a million bucks with the way he sells. Good PPV. It was no All In but that's okay by me. If that's supposed to be their WM then why would anyone expect their next PPV to be on that level? Oh whale, can't please em all.
EDIT: just wanted to note that there was zero hijacking going on by the Chicago crowd (Im from here) and there were plenty of "super-kick-party" chants, "A-E-DUB" chants and some "THIS IS AWESOME" chants. Huh, I heard online it would be different. Guess not. Guess the IWC is as small of a voice as ever.

Really no negative reactions for Hangman or Kenny, Bucks got booed but I think they would've anyways.

GREAT PPV!!!
Was not expecting much but this one will be hard to top when we are just talking bell-to-bell.
My biggest gripe of the event comes in the opener. This match was good but Dark Order were NOT the team to tell this story. There were probably 8 other AEW teams that I felt deserved this spot more and would've made for a hotter match. This was just so random and out of the blue. The match was solid but I have a hard time believing it could have been way more if we had a different team here. I'd even be open to Aussie Open getting a rematch since the Wembley match was a bit short.
The MJF/Joe segment was SO FUN!! Can't remember the last time we got an interaction like that in wrestling. And it led into a fantastic showing for Shane Taylor. I'd love to see more of him on AEW. Samoa Joe is a just a legacy talent at this point, no shame in it once so ever. It is what it is. That being said, he gave a ton to Shane and that should tell you what kind of guy he is. Joe is a cool guy but he doesn't go out there very often anymore to "make" his opponent. Joe was bumping and flying like I haven't seen in AEW yet for this guy. Great match, I hope we see more Shane Taylor. He is what everyone remembers Keith Lee being.
LOVED Darby Vs Luchasaurus. Told a fantastic story. Darby is just on another level right now. I think he is regularly stealing the show any time he's featured and he's secretly been the king of TV with his Dynamite/Collision/Rampage bouts this year. This match did not disappoint and I think Darby made Luchasaurus look great.
Miro Vs Hobbs was sooooo damn good and reminds me so much of the NJPW hoss battles we saw a ton in the early-mid 2010's. Fantastic match here. Hobbs has been ELEVATED. I just think Miro has a bit of a ceiling here and this was a great showing for him but I thought the real star made here was Hobbs.
TBS title match was solid. Admittedly this women's division is not interesting me a ton right now and I feel like Kris needs to be featured a lot more than she has been. These two ladies did a great job and made for a more than passable match on this already loaded up PPV. This wasn't the "DEATH" spot that some women's matches in AEW have been on recent PPVs, especially when the TBS title makes it onto the show. Ruby is so good!
Danielson Vs Starks. What else is there to say? MOTY contender. Maybe a legacy match for AEW in the long run. I LOVED this. Ricky Starks is ready for anything. Absolutely tore the house down here.
BCC Vs Eddie and Shibata was what it was. It was a good showcase of all of these guys but AEW is guilty of putting these guys on ice too often. Eddie gets a program on TV and is forgotten about when the PPV comes around. I thought it was fun and four guys deserving to be on the PPV but it was a bit of a filler bout for me. Not bad at all but just OK.
Takeshiiitta Vs Omega had a super fun match, too! This one definitely did not feel like a blowoff to me and I have to have hats off to Kenny for putting Takshiiita over here. Certainly thats not something he has to do if he doesn't think its right and he's already coming off two big losses -- Forbidden Door to Ospreay and taking the pin for his team at Wembley ALSO to Takeshiitta. They're doing a great job building Soup and him and Callis together is soooooo good. Loved this match. It made me hungry for more between these two.
BCG Vs FTR/Bucks was fun, action-packed, but a little long. Plenty I liked about this match but I just felt like it didn't need over 20 minutes at this point in the show. Could've even made a difference if it went on earlier on the card. Not a bad match at all, its even a step above OK. I think its just the fact that we are over 3 hours in at this point and an eight man tag is slowing things down by nature. I also felt like it was sort of odd to give BCG the win but I am not much of a fan to rattle about wins and losses. Just seemed like an odd choice to me here.
The main event! Another one where there just is not a lot to say and it speaks for itself. This is probably the closest we have gotten to a true "Ace versus Ace" here in AEW. Mox and OC are obviously both AEW mainstays, ultra over with their fans, real tentpole characters for the brand. Both guys have been on quite a tear but more notably, Orange is on a huge television match run defending that title and putting on great bouts all over. This match was NUTS. Great, great, great work by these two. The closing 2 minutes or so were magic. I honestly feel like when we are talking DEFINING MATCHES for this company, this can go on a short list.
The lack of build for this show is going to disqualify it for the most part of being a show to remember. There are great bouts and no bad matches. The crowd is hot and the card was a ton of fun. But we are missing that big "story" piece that seems to be at all of the favorite AEW PPVs. I don't think that this is a PPV to be remembered like some of the previous classics but I do think people will be talking about a few individual matches from this show for awhile.
