Here in Australia, outside of specialty retailers who will jack up their price, there's like two outlets that get WWE figures - Toyworld, which is franchised so it's really individualised, so they're basically specialty retailers; and Target.
Australia must have received the motherload of Elite 93. We had a monthish of Greatest Hits 2 hitting pegs, which was an absolute breath of fresh air. Random Elite waves have found their way out (I myself found Elite 101 at one Target only, and that went fast). But now Targets are restocking with.... Elite 93.
Did Mattel Australia just get dumped with this wave and restock Target with whatever they have? Have other countries suffered this affliction? Has Elite 93 got the properties of a Gremlin and multiply if you add water?? It's also the condensed version of the wave (ie. no Raquel, no Cesaro). But... if you want Karrion Kross or T-Bar, you are in absolute heaven.

That one moved slow at my Walmart as well. Raquel is still hanging there.

I'll never understand why certain waves seem to be on shelves EVERYWHERE..... absolutely everywhere..... and then we skip 2-3 waves and never even see those anywhere at retail. Where do they go? Does Mattel change production numbers that much from wave to wave?
I've never seen a single Elite 101 at any retail store. Not Target, Not Walmart.... and yet Elite 102 was all over the place for quite a while.... I just don't get it.

Here in the Netherlands, we're still waiting for elite 100.It gets delayed over and over again. First it should have been released in July, then August, September and now it's scheduled for October. Very frustrating, to say the least. There's no logic at all, they got elite 102 and then 99 and they got a case of elite 95 recently. I'm starting to give up hope that we will ever see them here.

Up until a month or 2 ago, i was still seeing Elite 85 at my Target & Casey's Toys, with the occasional 93 mixed in there.
Australia seems to have always gotten the short end of the stick when it comes to figures. Prices, distribution, exclusives etc... No wonder why it's so hard to collect down here.

I'm not saying this is why, as I've never worked in a toy shop, but...
A lot of retail stores have automated ordering systems. The system knows the stock level and will automatically order more of a product once the stock is low (unless the system is manually told to do something else). So if this is the case it could make sense, that it takes so long for Elite 100 stock to reduce to a number that the system thinks it should re-order it, that Elite 101 is no longer available for order, so the system goes straight to Elite 103.
Again, not saying that's why it happens, but I'm just guessing.
Does make me laugh, when I'm reminded of a time it happened in a hardware store (I'm in Ireland). We don't get snow over here often. Once every ten years we'll have a big snow event and the country closes down. About 5 years ago a big lump of snow fell and a local hardware shop seen their chance to get rid of a load of snow stuff that had been gathering dust for years. Snow shovels and 'sledges' (like little toboggan things) in particular had been sitting on the shelves for years. They clearanced them off down to a pittance, practically for free to give them away, and people came rushing in to buy them. The shop was delighted to see them gone, until their next delivery came in and it was full of snow shovels and sledges haha. System re-ordered automatically. I thought it was hilarious.

I lucked out and found a lone Steamboat yellow variant a few days ago at Meijer, but yeah, they've been stuck with them for awhile now. They must keep getting it because months ago the only Steamboat there was the normal white one.

Okay that's fine...... So then - what happens to ALL the Elite 101 figures that never went to Walmart or Target? I know some wind up at discount retail (TJ Maxx, Ollies, etc).... but that can't account for all of them.... I'm assuming Mattel has to decide production numbers close to a year in advance.... so there's no way they could KNOW which sets will be stocked by the big retailers and which ones will get passed over.... So where do all the lost figures go?

I still see plenty of Kross and Raquels around but the rest of the wave has been gone for a while. I hope either one of them gets another elite for a while especially Kross, none of his figures has sold very well to say the least.

Wasn't Kross released before that figure hit or like right when it hit?

Speaking of Kross, he moved slow in my area too, but not as slow as Scarlett. My Walmart still has 3 of her and they've been there for about a year now.

There’s a Wal Mart near me that has probably 12 Seth’s from that series
Along with the few Raquel’s, Kross
I don’t think they will ever go away

Yeah,I would guess within a couple months but his first elite moved slow too around my area and that was probably around his biggest push in NXT. I thought with his tats and a bigger guy he would sell good but I was completely wrong on that.
