My buddy that runs the toy shop sent me a text saying the inside scoop is that the next ultimate edition two pack will be announced at Ringside Fest. After talking with him for a few hours this is the list we came up with.
The Steiners- This is the one that makes the most sense. Everybody is screaming for them and this would fit in nice being an online Ringside exclusive.
The Outsiders- This has to be coming at some point and I don't think it will be two years from now in the Monday Night War Line.
Owens and Zyan- Since the Usos are already done this is the only currenst roster team I think could take another Ultimate spot but release two Current Roster exclusives back to back? I don't know about that.
A Big Surprise- With the One Man Gang news already out there could this be another huge surprise? If that's the case I went with Demolition as I think The Road Warriors would go straight to retail.

It’s seems like Steiner Brothers is almost guaranteed. My guess it’s gonna be revealed at RSF. Probably the reason why we didn’t see em at SDCC.

Brothers of Destruction from 01 would be pretty sweet.
Good way to re-release Hardcore Kane and get a shot at an actually good 2001 Undertaker
Other options - Dudleyz, Outsiders, Purple Harlem Heat, Two Man Power Trip

I can see a ring attire version of the Power Trip. They can do different shirts too. Stone Cold can come with the Do Unto Others shirt and Trips can get the \-H-/ shirt. Stone Cold maybe different colored knee braces as he wore black, red, gold, and white during that run. |

I'd be most happy with The Steiner Brothers, but The Outsiders and Dudleyz are also really good options. I wouldn't hate an Ultimate Brothers of Destruction set based on their 2001 looks but that's something I could easily see done in the main line as well... The Dudleyz or Steiners by themselves in the mainline doesn't work.

Obviously, the odds are pretty good that the next RSC UE 2 pack will be revealed at RSC fest (if it happens) or WM weekend. My 16 yr old niece could have came up with that "scoop."
It would make the most sense for WM 9 Steiners.
If they aren't going to make them right now, then I would prefer we get a Golden Era/New Gen tag team since we have opportunities for Hall/Nash, Harlem Heat, NAO, Dudley's, Headbangers, etc. in the MNW line.
The problem is that we really don't have any huge/toyetic tag team that probably has enough demand to justify a release from that period other than Two Dudes with Attitudes (boring).
LOD, Demolition, POP, Rockers, Bulldogs would all be good candidates if we only had them signed/both members signed. Hart Foundation is coming out in CC so don't see it being them.
While I would buy the Natural Disasters, Headshrinkers, Bushwhackers, Rhythm N Blues, etc., I don't know if they would sell well or if I would risk it with only the second offering. And besides Bushwhackers, they have been released recently as elites.
With that being said, it will probably be NAO or Hall/Nash (if Rick Steiner is off limits for now). If it's current, then probably Sami and Kevin from WM39. Another option is one of the random pairings from the RA era.

From that list? the Steiner's hands down. I've a few versions of Elite Outsiders I'm more than happy with. Owens & Zayn are non entitys top me and I have Demolition in elite form.

But I would rank them like this for me…
1. Steiners
2. Outsiders
