I finally got Mark Henry off ebay (best offer of $100cdn accepted fml) to complete the NOD. I took some comparison pics of the Jakks bone crunching action NOD figures with the new elites, trying to pose them similarly. I didn't do one of The Rock because he wasn't made in his early NOD gear by Jakks. Faarooq  D'lo  Kama  Mark Henry  We are the nation!  |

I still need the Mark Henry ☹️ One positive is that he didn’t really come into the group until the end. When I think of that version of NOD I only picture Faarooq, Kama, DLo, and Rock. Henry I associate more with The Nation. |

Cool to see them all together. But man...The Rock and D'lo are the only 2 with decent face sculpts/scans. The rest are awful. Kama looks way too small as well. Definite room for improvement on these guys.

Man I'm still mad that the Decade of Domination line never came to Canada. Mark Henry is the only one I'm missing from that photo.
Now that he's with AEW a new version of him in his Nation gear or even a rerelease may never happen.

Suppose we have the shirt and shorts rock coming up with the Maivia 3 pack that could be a nation rock but that was from after Farooq left I think? |

I realized that they used WWE’s official promo shot of Mark Henry, which is mirrored for some reason. Which is why his hat’s stripes are the wrong side and direction. If you look at pictures of him in the ring, the stripe matches the rest of the NOD. It’s an Eddie Guerrero black/gold tights situation all over again.
Anyway, I dreamed a day would come where I’d have all of DX and all of the Nation of Domination and now it’s here. If I could get Owen Hart to complete the Hart Foundation, Mideon to complete the Ministry of Darkness, and Corporate Sgt Slaughter, the Stooges in suits, Corporate Shane, and maybe Test to complete the Corporation, I can tell myself I can retire from collecting and not follow through. I suppose a few more NWO members would be nice.

I think that was their collective interpretation of the reference material. For instance:  I can see how that greenish-teal color could be mistaken for blue. Mattel’s was closer, but still not exact. As for why Faarooq wore a slightly different color from his stablemates, I’m honestly not sure. |
