I still can't understand why they gave D'Lo no wrist tape...Is there any time where he didn't have wrist tape on? They need to redo Faarooq with proper skintone and removable leather jacket...and have his post-NOD attire as the chase: and do The Rock in the same set in this attire:

What's wild is that I only have the chase from this set, and that one does have the wrist tape. Guessing that maybe their reference was the promo pic used in WWE 2K16, as that's the only thing I can find where he's in that gear without wrist tape.

side note: Rocky Maivia's NoD attire always throws me off because the art style is SO different

I remember tons of Jakks BCA stuff hitting around the same time in late 1998. I already had a Faarooq since he had a few figures by that point. Rock had some black tights repaints of his baby face gear, which was close enough. Then you get a brand new Mark Henry and a D'Lo/Kama two-pack. It was awesome being able to complete the Nation all at once!

As others have said, thanks for sharing. Look great and realizing I have all but the Mark now frustrates me that Walmart screwed up Decade of Domination so badly. I think the only one they ended up sending me was Orton and the one I got was defective…

One thing I never understood: Why Faarooq has blue on both the BCA and Elite, but D'lo and the others have the proper green? His attire was indeed blue. Part of me wants to think it was a nod to Faarooq Asad's attire. I still can't understand why they gave D'Lo no wrist tape...Is there any time where he didn't have wrist tape on? Same reason they gave us a Faarooq without a right fist or fist in general. Even MOC they had him doing the fist, with the wrong hand but with a gripping hand. Why did they give Kama Mustafa the body they gave him even though they had the right body on the previous Kama figure? Why did they give D'Lo the wrong upper body for his singlete? Mattel is full of questions that we can never answer other than they'll eventually fix those mistakes in 10 years and will have to rebuy the updated figures.

I love the idea above (ztg) about doing a Faarooq in his post-Nation, pre-Acolyte gear as the chase.
The things they need to do with a redo of that Rock/Faarooq 2-pack:
1) Make Rock's torso less ripped. The one they use for most AE Rock figures is totally fine. They jacked him up to the gills last time for some reason. 2) Make Faarooq less dark. The dude didn't look anything like his figure skintone wise. He's not that dark.
I would buy them both again with those corrections. They'd be good candidates for the GH line so long as these two main issues are fixed, but they'd fit perfectly into the MNW line, as well.
