Looks a bit disappointing in the box - just 5 figures lined up - was hoping for a cool box or figures displayed somehow

Sorry to any current wrestling fans who thought the Elite line was for current talent. You actually need to pay premium, wait a year and have figures that are no where near their present look when they arrive. I don't care about these as I don't need them. But if I did, I'd be kinda pissed for the reasons you mentioned. Also, kind of a weird choice for the rollout here eh? |

how do people not understand what made to order means Mattel doesn't, lol. I never got the Logan Paul Mattel Creations figure I ordered. I really want this set, so I hope they actually make enough to cover what gets ordered.  |

Hence why this box set isnβt focused on their current looks or gear. Itβs focused on a specific momentβ¦ Backlash 2023 in Puerto Rico. So when that box set comes out, it still represents that night and isnβt outdated. far as i can tell, Joaquin, Cruz & santos are their attires from when they did a run-in to help Rey @ Wrestlemania 39. I think Cruz might've worn those tights again in a match. I can't find Joaquin wearing those trunks ever again tho? rey is street clothes from Backlash when he did a run-in during Bad Bunny post match. But his shirt should have sleeves. And zelina is backlash. (and she shouldn't have knee pads) Iβm gonna check the attires for Cruz and Joaquin. |

Ahhh so mattel creations "made to order" seems to be only "new things"
And us legend peeps have to rely on 5k other people to back a project and have it fail and never come again.

I think this was a use it or lose it scenario. Steve has said they have two spots per year reserved for big moments when they wanna get something into production immediately. Apparently 2023 was a pretty uneventful year and never had anything worthwhile to fill those spots. So with the end of the year approaching they had to scramble and figure out something. I guess doing a box set for a midcard faction where it would be hard to find that many spots for in the mainline is what they came up with.

I think the set looks cool, but not for me. I think the LWO choice makes sense in the sense that really, Rey and Zelda are probably the only figs here that would do well at retail as single releases (Maybe Escobar?) so this is is a way of getting the gimmick out all once.

This is a great set. Only small thing is, it'll probably take a year to get and I don't know if they'll be around that long.
That being said, I love em at the moment, so I'm in.

Nothing for me, but the figures look nice. I like the gold paint that they are using on the ones guys boots, hopefully, they'll use that going forward for other figures with gold attire.

This set would have been better with Eddie Guerrero, Chavo Guerrero, konnan, La Parka, Juventud, Psychosis and Hector Garza. It goes to show how bad talent depth is with WWE making decisions on who Mattel can make.

Loved the Puerto Rico show they did, I gotta cop this especially for Zelina and the two others who probably won't get too many elites
