I think this was a use it or lose it scenario. Steve has said they have two spots per year reserved for big moments when they wanna get something into production immediately. Apparently 2023 was a pretty uneventful year and never had anything worthwhile to fill those spots. So with the end of the year approaching they had to scramble and figure out something. I guess doing a box set for a midcard faction where it would be hard to find that many spots for in the mainline is what they came up with. *gestures aggressively at the completely uneventful time period in WWE that was August 2022 to August 2023* I mean, right, surely nothing happened in that time period that would outshine a midcard faction right? A Bloodline set sounds great but there’s not really a need for it, everyone in that storyline outside of maybe Heyman will sell fine as single cards and every store is drowning in the same Roman elite that’s been released 8 times They can always go back to the Bloodline because it’s the biggest faction in WWE in like 2 decades, LWO likely has a much smaller shelf life |

I don't want this to be a one and done concept. I love the idea of faction sets and have been pleading for them for ages now. This is a great set and should be made. I'm just worried about it scaring off future chances like the old Jakks boxsets failing cost us the shot at getting Linda McMahon in the TTL line. And honestly, if I can swing it? I'm probably going to grab this. I adore factions. Give me a gang of wrestlers with chemistry united under a common goal and 9 times out of 10 I'm eating it up. I'm just worried is all. It's what I do when it's 4:30 in the morning and I can't sleep. I WORRY. |

I only want the Rey but will buy the set. I hope they fix his shirt and hand tattoos. Seems a waste to make a new head and legs to then make it inaccurate.

Original LWO had promise. Started off as a worked shoot very similar to the pipe bomb where Eddie aired his grievances at Bischoff. Then recruited all the Mexican luchas to join his fight. Then the horsemen got back together shortly after and Flair started a program with Bischoff. The group was then directionless and started feuding with Rey and forced him to join the group against his will. Then Eddie got injured so they used the reformation of nWo post FPOD to disband the LWO. Definitely had promise but everything WCW during that time period was surely gonna get f’d up.

I like it, but can I afford it at the moment? Unfortunately no. Too much stuff coming out (from all wrestling figure companies) and gotta save for Christmas.

He has his falcons on his hands which don't look as though they are there on the renders |

Steve said to you in his thread that the LWO images are virtual models |

Steve said it wouldn’t be a premium cost for this set. He said it would be less than the cost for 5 regular Elites. So I agree with most here, I think it’ll be around $100 which isn’t bad at all.
