What are your thoughts, are they an improvement over the old formula and do you see yourself buying them again/now?

I should have a few on Monday, provided everything stays on schedule. Really curious to see what everyone thinks of 'em.

I received my first set of new basics, the Top Picks set with Cody, Drew, and Orton, as well as a Brock. I like 'em quite a bit. All of the articulation is crazy smooth, with the exception of Cody who's knees were a little tight. They weren't as tight as recent basics, though, and a little heat and some shock oil got them moving properly.
I'm not sure if the new figures will be a game changer for everyone, but I'm fully on board. I've got the rest of 141 coming sometime next month and I've already placed orders for the 3 Championship Showdown sets.

They're on the same type of joints as most elites. If they do get loose, it will be an easy fix, though. These basics have very smooth movement, right now.

Honestly, I might be slightly more likely to pick up a Basic, but I honestly never stopped to begin with. If I wanted a gear/chracter, I would get it.

I got the Logan Paul/Roman Reigns 2-pack, where both figures have the new basic articulation. I think it is a great improvement given the price point and am more inclined to purchase more of them now in lieu of elites.

The new articulation is awesome. Increased range of motion is a good thing. I think Basics will blend in much better with Elites. The flexibility and posability is better than it’s ever been for Basics. I’ve only got one so far, but I will absolutely be picking up more as a result of this change. Here’s the LA Knight I got the other day from Ringside:

Can't really tell from the pics but do the rest of the figures besides Knight have ankle articulation?

I saw a review from Alex West Collects on the LA Knight and I've ordered the Logan Paul set, they seem to have fixed the reason I don't buy basics being the little leg articulation also removable hands like elites is a nice addition

I ordered some not too long ago but have decided to sell my entire collection. Had I not decided that, however, I'd definitely buy them. I mean, most of us display our figures standing straight because we have so many. In other words, we don't really need the ab crunch. The only reason I never did Basics before was the dumb blocky crotch. It just looks silly to me. Now, that's gone. So I think you guys will be happy with the new Basics!

Received my 2nd group of figures (ordered a 2nd Drew to turn into Trips, still a WIP). I like this group, as well, but KO is stiff as hell. I also switched out his kick pads. I know it's not accurate but they didn't look great. I'll hopefully have the remaining CS sets early next week, but I'll be waiting until November for LA Knight and Seth.

Can these legs be swapped onto elites? I don't see why not. As long as the elite has ball joints and not the pine cone piece. As far as I can tell, the new basics appear to be regular sized ball joints.

It's some time away, but I was thinking of getting the upcoming Karrion Kross basic and swapping the legs and head onto the Elite 85 That would look cool, I imagine. I have some plans for that figure, too, but mostly staying in the basic realm. ...of course, being able to pull if off is a different story.
