The Assassin I could see our beloved DDP being a build a figure Bulldog with a smiling scan 😑 I hope I’m wrong, but I’ll lower my expectations if anything.

DDP in jeans should be an ultimate. 1 smiling head and 2 different serious heads.

Speaking of WCW figs, this Goldberg was one of my favorites as a kid. The Bret Hart was pretty great too.

J-MANN I’m with you 100 percent brother minus the smiling scan. I’m tired of smiling DDP. I would like one serious face, one with a snarling/teeth expression (as a homage to his toybiz figure) and one similar to his jakks classic deluxe with a screaming expression. I think Mattel could improve his mullet too. They’ve never gotten the right color for his hair either, but that’s an easy fix for me. I also wouldn’t mind some more DDP in tights either in the future. Edit: I always thought this figure looked great. The mullet, the hair color and the expression.

Def some wonkiness w these figs. I thought the Taker proto looked great but it didn’t translate to the shelf version. For now I’m gonna stick w my Ultimate Taker for a 97/98 look. I’ll def check it out in person tho to see if it looks any better

J-MANN apparently, all three Undertakers have different skintones. Super annoying, mind you I was happy at first. Now, it just seems like I’ll be wasting money to make this figure fixup work. Why can’t Mattel just make all the 90’s Undertakers pale with wide torsos? The legends got his torso right. Also, the Hogan gloves are terrible. They have gap and the wrist section does not go all around his gloves. I feel like this is what they were going for so I think the Hogan gloves were the way to go over any other glove mold they have. Should he be thicker? Yeah but we have been saying that since Elite Series 1 so I doubt they’ll ever give him (or Mr Perfect) a thicker torso.

PJ the Legends 20? 90’s style Undertaker has a really good torso. Imo, it looks better than the Ultimate. It captures Takers wide chest for that period. Granted, this one (MNW) was just a rehash of the TRU exclusive’s torso, so I knew what to expect in terms of proportion. The glove thing… I think they could of retooled the Hogan gloves. We’ve been asking for new gloves since forever. Another thing is, why the inconsistency with the skintones for Undertaker? Mattel can’t decide if he was tan or pale. I think 90’s Taker should all be pale. Changes were made, but not the ones we wanted. I think overall, I feel people’s disappointment. This lineup does not have a lot of deco, at the very least we could gotten some better parts for the Undertaker. To be fair, I’m not too disappointed because I only wanted Undertaker for the head and boots.

We know they aren’t going to make a new torso for a WalMart exclusive. (I am surprised they gave Hall the pants tucked into the boots look.) They are going to keep the costs down. I figured these were basically going to be rereleases with maybe a new head or deco.

Was hoping with how much they’ve been hyping up this line, they were gonna knock it out of the park. For the record, they used the mold for the BAF Bulldog too. So it’s not like this is the first time we’re seeing this pants mold. Conspiracy: Mattel decided to half ass this entire line once the Nitro Stage wasn’t funded. 🙄🤣

Hopefully the Ultimates in this line are worth purchasing.

I'm absolutely disgusted I have to fix Hall (plus using a UE16 Razor head), Hogan, AND Luger, to make their heights correct. This is hot garbage. With everything being talked up about this line, I thought we were going to get some seriously good figs.
Instead we got half-arsed product. This is borderline Jakks level. Hell, I returned my CC3 Piper/Steele 'cause the paint was terrible.

Another pic from Alex West Collects The more I look at this, Halls proportions look incredibly odd. Long scrawny arms and short stumpy legs. Garbage. I know I’m going to probably buy it and have to fix it up but it’s just annoying at this point.

If they were going to do anything not spot on, I'd assume they'd go with over bulking the wrestlers since they are action figures after all.

Another pic from Alex West Collects Every time I see this l, all I can think is that Hogan is some GI Joe COBRA villain. He reminds me of a bad guy from Raiders of the Lost Ark. And his bandana looks like a helmet.
