Anyone else think this line could've been better then it is currently ?. Lack of names on the WCW side doesn't help. Agreed, but being that they are only averaging sending one case (or zero) per store, making them very difficult to find - I'm actually glad that there are a lot of selections that are "easy passes" for me. Save the good names/figures for Target, who will ensure we are given a fair chance to buy them.

You guys think we’ll eventually see that Disciple figure re-released in another line? I’ve had zero luck finding that series and I’m not paying out the ass.

I can see an OWN version released somewhere. Recent exclusives also have been put in the GH line (Nada, Scorpion King, DDP, Beefcake) so maybe nWo Disciple could end up there as well.

Anyone else think this line could've been better then it is currently ?. Lack of names on the WCW side doesn't help. I kind of expected the deco to be bland - biggest stars of the era were mostly wearing black or black and white gear. They feel the same as PPV waves - sometimes you get decent offerings, but it's mostly okay to good figures with a BAF that eats a good portion of deco cost. Talent availability issues also doesn't really help, but to Flair Forever's point, you can't find the figures in store 95% of the time you walk in anyway. Pepper this line with too many FTITL figures, and it would be a bloodbath in the ask Steve thread.

Anyone else think this line could've been better then it is currently ?. Lack of names on the WCW side doesn't help. That is definitely the majority opinion here - distribution issues aside, we need more "first time" and "deep dive" names, particularly for the WCW side. This line has massive potential but so far it's been too many repaints and too many of the same names who've already had loads of figures. Some people are always quick to point out Mattel can't make people who aren't signed, which while true is usually said as though the list of who's signed is a static and unchanging thing, as though only A-listers are considered, and as though Mattel has no input whatsoever in any of this... Where as actually the list of signed talent is ever changing (and never fully public), names added, names drop off, some deep dive names are absolutely considered and approached, and most importantly Mattel has regular discussions with WWE where they put forward suggestions of who they'd like WWE to approach/sign. With that in mind, we know the MNW line is greenlit to continue at least through 2026, so I'm hopeful that going forward Mattel can push WWE to approach/sign more first time and deep dive names, particularly on the WCW side. This line's existence is the best reason we've ever had for WWE to try and finally hit some of these longtime, important WCW gaps, guys like Mortis/Kanyon, Norman Smiley, Ernest Miller, Buff Bagwell, Alex Wright, Konnan, Disco Inferno, Perry Saturn, Steve McMichael, Billy Kidman, Kronik, etc... and that's just the tip of the iceberg. I couldn't believe it, but I left the entire Greatest Hits wave on the pegs last night. I pulled them off and looked them over, but I already have 3/4 of the line and have so many Attitude Era Triple H figures already...I just couldn't justify paying $80 for Vincent.

Golga moves merch, brother! honestly he most likely would if he wasn't a baf (same thing with Vincent) and was actually a single figure shipped in just a case of 4 as a holiday/monthly qt exclusive under a certain time frame for being on the shelves then marked out of the system and the remaining figures hits clearance for the next release date I think a few figures could actually benefit from it instead of baf like nwo Stevie Ray and Elizabeth rtc goodfather and others

Anyone else think this line could've been better then it is currently ?. Lack of names on the WCW side doesn't help. It didn't need a "greatest hits" wave, especially the versions of the figures we got It didn't need a Razor Ramon It does need better distribution It does need to continue to get more hits in the line

It's gonna be hard for Mattel to sell a line of figures to Walmart that is primarily made up of deep cuts
a LOT of key players of the Monday Night Wars are just not signed to Legends/figure deals. Example: Edge/Christian, Flair, Arn, Giant, Sting, Malenko, Kidman, Macho, Mark Henry, Jericho, Kevin Sullivan, Meng/Haku, Windham, Albert, Hardyz, Lance Storm...theres a MASSIVE list of unsigned (that we know of) talent
I think they should really consider putting this line on hold until they can secure more names. Give Walmart their own Greatest Hits or some crapbecause that's all they want to stock anyway.

Triad area, North Carolina We still have a big problem with resellers here in the Triad. Burlington got Wave 4 but someone already snagged them because of their connection to someone at the store.
