Interesting that I also pre-ordered the marvel legends Quicksilver with the Monday night wars figures yesterday, and that figure already delivered today.

Well bring on Luger since I found three HHH's when I was at Walmart this morning. So far I've had no issues finding any of the ultimates as Bret and Piper were fairly easy to get here and I've seen multiple shipments of Mankind and Eddie over the past few months. However like almost everyone else elites have been slim pickings here. I've never seen Mankine/Eddie Ultimates at any Walmart store; I did get my pre-order in for Lex Luger so fingers crossed that it comes, as I'm not really expecting to see it at retail. Ran into a couple of them last night (posted in PA thread) but that's only the second time I've ever seen them around here. First set was so much easier to get! Snagged what I needed from WM.com but I'm not holding my breath if they don't ship. I wish I truly understood how it works since they've randomly hit stores over the course of a month, end up on the website in small bursts, and then presumably we see them at some bargain outlet in a year. I'm trying to spend the money on these and instead I feel like a storm chaser  |

I'm trying to spend the money on these and instead I feel like a storm chaser Well I honestly think they are just doing it backwards; * They take pre-orders like 6 months in advance.... * As much as we complain & moan, the Walmart distribution system is probably a giant machine, moving literally millions of items through & getting stuff out to stores (everything, food, clothing, TV's, candles, furniture, sporting goods, etc). * More often than not, our piddly-little wrestling toys probably show up in Distribution centers early (that's why we're seeing stuff like the Okerlund/Hogan set and MNW Series 5 hitting now)... Now, I'm pretty certain Walmart (OFTEN) is only ordering enough to send one-case-per-store. So they get this pallet of WWE Action figures, and they send them right out to the stores, where they are quickly snatched up, EXCEPT.... * OOOPS.... we took pre-orders for those WWE action figures and scheduled them to be delivered 3 months from now. But we already sent them out to all the stores, and they're mostly GONE (because we didn't order any extra). OOPS. * Now it's a scramble to find figures to fulfill the pre-orders that we took..... sometimes they can probably locate more, sometimes they probably get a 2nd shipment from Mattel..... but if they've all been sent out to stores ..... Time to Delay.... Delay..... and then Cancel those pre-orders. What you wind up with is, people who Pre-ordered either get the items LATER than those who look for them in stores.... or the Pre-Orders don't get fulfilled at all. There is literally no reward for Pre-Ordering with Walmart, except for the fact that you MIGHT actually get the product (Later) and not have to search the stores. And in my case, I've received a few Chase figs via Pre-Ordering.... there's no way I would have found those at retail. I really wish they could do it like Target.... Street-Dates..... Pre-Orders filled FIRST.... then shelves are stocked.... Then shelves are eventually CLEARANCED...... rinse and repeat. |

Between 1pm and 2pm EST, I was able to score Austin, then Bossman and then finally Hennig. Then expected DDP to go up and nothing. Just hoping he appears on the app eventually and that these all ship too.

Found the set once, but sold my DDP. I was able to order two DDP’s today, hoping for the chase, along with another Hennig so I can display one nWo and one West Texas Rednecks.
