Got my package from Walmart - ordered two Curt Hennig figures, got two swaps (looks like a DDP body with Hennig's head in one, DDP's body with DDP's head in the other). Dang. So they must be pulling their online orders directly from Store shelves then; Interesting. Really weird how that set just went up out-of-the-blue, too. I wonder what's going on. They really need to have stock allocated for online orders, it seems to be a huge problem for Walmart. Target and Walmart both pull their online orders from brick and mortar stock. Target just has better structure and inventory maintenance that makes it actually work. |

I'm sure you could use either the Nada shirt or something different instead of the NWO shirt.... I think there was a Brock Lesnar that had a plaid/type shirt not too long ago....  |

Got my Bossman and Hennig. Bossman’s box was crushed and torn a bit, but considering they had their BAF parts and I got them for retail as opposed to the eBay prices I was about to pay, I can’t complain. Waiting on Austin, he was the only one I paid eBay prices for a few weeks ago, but I’ll certainly take 3/4 for retail.

I can't believe Series 5 is literally hitting stores, when Series 4 and Greatest Hits was SO sparce
and really Series 3 at least in my area
The distribution of this line is an all time worst

No doubt there will be "delays"..... So Pre-Order & wait at least an additional 3 months for your figures, beware, they may come in an envelope & beat up. |

I got Hennig and Bossman from Walmart's site (was stunned I got lucky and was both able to order them, and that they actually shipped) ... but, man, QC on the Mattel line is quickly becoming a major concern imo. The head on Perfect won't stay on/is bobbly/super loose, the joints feel terrible, and the HBK chest piece that it came with has all sorts of damage on the front of it that won't go away no matter how many times I try cleaning it. Bossman's joints feel super off too.

I don't think there's a figure with a plain blue shirt, though. Piper had a plaid shirt, so does the 3-pack Brock Lesnar figure.  If you have the Bret/Goldberg two-pack, it came with a WCW Nitro shirt, that could work for this look. Bossman's joints feel super off too. My Bossman has a very noticeable gap on his leg where the upper thigh plugs into the hip piece. Tried boiling it, with no luck. Sending it back tomorrow, and I have little hope that I'll actually get a replacement. |

Series 6 is up for preorder except Booker T. I managed to get Hak, Kane, and Bulldog. Allegedly ships in March. I had to search “wwe monday night war (wrestler name)” in Walmart’s app search to find them.
I’m guessing Booker T will be the most popular. I hope it’s double packed.

I do not even really collect wrestling figures any more, but I just pre-ordered the Monday Night Wars Ultimate Warrior, if you are in the UK, Smyths has it up  While a joke to most people, this was the most invested in WCW I ever was! I never thought I would see the Warrior wrestle again, let alone in WCW so when he showed up in the later half of 98 it was awesome. Yes, it is so easy to look back and say that it was garbage, but at the time I was completely invested 100 percent. As an in box collector, I hate the modern packaging, especially with Dusty on the front and nothing against the dream, I love the dream baby! But it ruins the look of the figure in box for me so I may have to crack this one open. |

I didn’t start watching wrestling until late 1997, but WWF’s marketing was so strong in the early 90s that I knew who Ultimate Warrior was even if I never saw a wrestling match. So when he appeared in WCW and I finally got to see him for real on TV, my head exploded and I died. However, even as a 13-year old ghost, which I was at the time, that mirror thing made no sense to me. If Hogan, the commentators, and I could see Warrior in the mirror, why didn’t Bischoff? |
