I hope Mattel knows the demand for that Bret. I’m hoping we get another stab at this Bret someday. I’m also in the minority, but that straight faced haired scan that Mattel gave us for his last Ultimate has to be the best Bret scan they’ve given us.  |

I cannot believe people are bidding insane amounts on eBay. Man oh man.
I don’t think they’re the worse but I’m happy I don’t need to stress about this set as it’s pretty boring & not that good looking. This was my childhood too, as many of you all likely share but none of these are anything crazy.

I’m also in the minority, but that straight faced haired scan that Mattel gave us for his last Ultimate has to be the best Bret scan they’ve given us. Both heads on the RR93 ultimate were awful and looked nothing like him. Facially the best scans came with the other ultimate. Specifically the open mouth head. The hair wasn’t that well executed and he has black hair instead of brown for some reason (no idea why so few companies get that his hair was never black. Even so that was the best head easily. |

Warriah' the one PJ posted. I think it has the best likeness to Bret. The facial features are on point. The version without the hair strands covering his face looks fine. The hairpiece could be better, but I saw someone who modified the scan and gave him shorter hair. It looked magnificent. As far as brown hair, we only got one with brown hair and I believe it was the one from a royal rumble basic? The right thing to do imo, if I were Mattel would be to give Bret black hair with a brown wash of some sort. Bret’s hair did appear black from time to time, but it was dark brown. Btw PJ is there a difference between the legs on the og UE Bret and the Target UE? I feel like the legs look thicker on the og version.

I hope they make this HBK from the October 1997 RAW's. For example, on the 10/13/97 RAW, when Shawn named "DX" for the first time and he was cutting promos on these RAWS; he was wearing his IYH: Ground Zero tights with his 1997 logo T-Shirt. I hope they make that HBK with the 1997 logo shirt and the Groud Zero tights. And it's a big moment, because this is the gear he was wearing when he named his stable "D-Generation-X. He was wearing that exact outfit on the Fall of 1997 RAWS, and it's such a cool look:  ![]()  \ |

They could also include the banana he was eating while on commentary, haha. |

The colour of the denim is way better, far more accurate and the pony tail head is also way better with darker beard and the face looks better. I've asked Steve if there could be a running change because if so, I'd much rather hold out - I assume the height wouldn't be any better but this would still be a big upgrade. |

Neither the Hall in your SDCC pics or the in hand pics have a ponytail. And as far as his denim people here complained it was to dark when those pics were posted. They said they wanted it lighter with an acıd wash look to them. I think they did it with the jeans, but not with the shirt. To me the biggest issue is like with every Hall/Razon (minus the RSC exclusive Hall) is his arms and legs are to small/thin (arms) and short (legs) |

Looks better and if you scroll through they all looked better. Hogans color was perfect and now it's oompa loompa. Lugers hair had more tones and now it's one color. Takers face looked better. And I can't be sure but it looks like they changed hogans bandana to a more rounded one with less texture and it looks bad. |

The spare head looks like it did have a pony tail to me? Can’t see any hair down, looks tied back and think they advertised that it has a pony tail at the time. The face and beard looks loads better on that version too, the pony tail one we have now hardly has any beard. You’re right on the arms too, so frustrating. |
