Hall is laughably bad. It literally looks like a custom, unfinished. Woof, what a terrible figure. "Keto" Undertaker just ain't it. Hogan is OK I guess but that skin tone looks so weird, like unnatural. Austin we all know is basically a re-release, nothing special there. I would have preferred a regular wrestling gear figure with the smoking skull belt, if it would have left room in the budget to give Hall a better figure Luger's hair looks unfinished too, he didn't have bright yellow hair
This set is beyond underwhelming from what it could have been to how it actually turned out. But this is what you get when you live in an uncontrolled economy where companies are allowed to raise costs with no limits, and everyone is left in the dust. We better get used to these kinds of things, it's only going to get worse from here.

Fighter Hayabusa I remember that episode of Seinfeld. I always thought those things were pirate shirts 😂

I just wish everyone would quit calling Luger’s top a “puffy shirt.” It’s just a collarless dress shirt that everyone was wearing at the time. It’s not a puffy shirt. Can ya spare some change for an old buccaneer?

J-MANN apparently, all three Undertakers have different skintones. Super annoying, mind you I was happy at first. Now, it just seems like I’ll be wasting money to make this figure fixup work. Why can’t Mattel just make all the 90’s Undertakers pale with wide torsos? The legends got his torso right. Also, the Hogan gloves are terrible. They have gap and the wrist section does not go all around his gloves. I feel like this is what they were going for so I think the Hogan gloves were the way to go over any other glove mold they have. Should he be thicker? Yeah but we have been saying that since Elite Series 1 so I doubt they’ll ever give him (or Mr Perfect) a thicker torso. Is Mattel blind or incompetent? Just look at the size of Undertaker in 1998 and compare that to his MNW release, It's laughable and it shouldn't be happening in 2024. 😔

Undertaker, Kane and Kevin Nash really stand out with their short and skinny torsos.
7' 300lb guys need an overhaul and I've been asking for it for years.
But I'm sure mattel sees no issue with their formula of tall legs, skinny torsos and oversized hands.

So to verify and someone correct me… these are supposed to come out in April? That’s a long time, but I guess it gives me enough time to set aside some money for Piper and Bret.

Yes, supposedly they will all be on the WrestleMania shipper around March/April. But the elites have already started showing up on secondary markets.

Dude, I’m super excited for these and can’t wait. I bought like 4 figures last year max. So these are huge wants, but to counter that I’m not sure how I feel about collecting at times. Im conflicted where I now only collect a specific era, but just kind of store the figures away. You ever get that?

Im conflicted where I now only collect a specific era, but just kind of store the figures away. You ever get that? I totally get that. Over the years I have gone through phases of what is my highest priority collecting. Right now, wrestling is my highest priority. I started collecting these when the Jakk's Classic Superstars line first came out in 2004. At the time my main collecting was Star Wars and McFarlane NFL figures. Shortly after that I started collecting the 'current' wrestlers at the time too, partially to get the ECW guys where were all in WWE at the time as 'current' wrestlers. I am glad I did. Star Wars was my top, then NFL and Wrestling, but with NFL only coming out in the fall, and Star Wars was waning a bit, I was a bit passive about all 3 of those lines. I dove right into the DC Universe Classics when those came out and managed to get every single one of those, and for that duration (2008-2013) it was my favorite line. This was also when Mattel took over and they started fresh in 2010. Star Wars really took a backseat as they stopped doing a lot of the original trilogy stuff, and NFL seemed to die off too, so wrestling figures, along with the DC Universe Classics were my two big figure collections, until the DC figures died in 2013. Now I look at my boxes and boxes of loose wrestling figures, I do sometimes wonder if enough is enough, and that has led to me purchasing less of the newer stuff, and think twice about every new Undertaker/Rock/Warrior etc that we have seen multiple times from Mattel. They still get me with the BAF sets though. I think the recent Wrestlemania with Nicholas as the BAF is the only one I don't care about and will wait until these are on good clearance somewhere to pick up, and if I don't get them at all, then so be it.

I mean I get why youtube guys are like Alex. Correct me if I'm wrong, but first to have and first to review means a ton of views I am guessing. A ton on views turns in to money, right? I am old and not familiar with the ways of youtube.

They actually made a chase in series 3. With the way things are, I can see those chases never going for less than 100 each.
